G3 characters on G8?

I was wondering if there is a way to get G3 characters to work on G8. For example if you have a character that is based off Victoria 7 and you have the Victoria 7 for Victoria 8 product, can the V7 based character be applied to V7 for V8?

Most skins for G3 characters work on G8 just fine, and vice versa.

(Still, even though it's showing promise, it's not perfect, and cannot fully transfer any characters that use HD morphs).

The skin texture will work, but not the shape. You'd need to convert the morphs used, which is possible but not that simple as there's no utility for that right now (there's one in the work though, see this thread: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/176271/morphs-from-g3-to-g8/p68).

I use this alot but the opposite direction: G8 to G3
