DAZ Scripting Made Simple tutorials

At the end of the last DAZ Scripting Made Simple tutorial they write: "Please watch our website for other volumes in the Scripting Made Simple series. Future tutorial volumes will cover such topics as surfaces, colors, textures, shaders, and more...".  It's a year and 4 months since that tutorial was released and nothing has happened, does anyone know if they given up on the project?
