I'm in the market for some stone platforms

I found something that sort of works for what I'm looking for in the product Rocks N Drops, except that they're too small for what I have in mind.  Generic, cliff-top or dirt-top 'platform' props that could be used independently from a specific set of terrain.

I don't know what the policy is on linking to other shops, but I found something on Renderosity that's pretty close.  However, I'm paranoid when it comes to running Poser content in Daz.  For reference though, it's this thing, and I really like the shape and look of those cliffs.  Interested in knowing if there any nature vignette props like this for Studio, but only if they can be loaded as individual pieces, instead of as an entire scene.

I don't know why you'd be hesitant to buy Poser stuff - it says right off the bat that it has all the maps you need, you might just have to tweak your surface settings to get the best look.  The props are all separate, so loading just the ground isn't a problem.  I use Poser stuff all the time, and the only time there's a problem I've found is when the materials are a Poser shader, and there are no included material maps to use.

(I like the set, too... I have Prime, so I dropped it in my cart.  Thanks!)

Here is one that is morphable:

The Ant Farm has a bunch but they are mostly plainer than what you are looking for:

Also, that one you linked to would render in 3DL in DAZ or coverted to iRay with the UberiRay. preset. There is not platform prop like that in DAZ 3D Store.

There is Merlin Studio's Oak Tree which you could scale a round platform up to to fit the tree onto the platform:

Also, there are these products I recently used in renders

    https://www.daz3d.com/charmed

    https://www.daz3d.com/tree-stump-home

    https://www.daz3d.com/tree-and-swing-scene-for-genesis-8

There are really quite a few scene products that are small in scope that you just need to scale the round platform to an appropriate size for the scene and position for your scene to render.

I have things whose materials seem to not render in 3Delight, which is a problem since I need to use LR9000 cameras for the 'characters'.  I don't know enough about Surfaces to know how to fix this, but that gives me an idea for my next post....

I understand; all I use is 3Delight, and I have the same hesitation when buying stuff for Daz!  Iray surfaces just mess up my world ;-)  If you need help slotting in textures for Surfaces, I - or a dozen other people who stil 3DL - would be delighted to assist.  Of course, if you're using a line renderer, you could probably just retexture everything with some shaders in order to render, right?

I forgot about these two products that you can use in combo with one of those round platforms:
