Genesis 3 Male or Genesis 8 Male

Genesis 8 male of the two options. I do have quite a few G3M, but prefer the G8. I wont buy anything for G3, unless it is a seriously unique item that i can autofit, or parent appropriately.

I only use g8m and it's not as if there's an abundance of quality clothing available, so I'll buy g3 clothes.  I have no problem with fitting them.

Definitelly G8M. I love Edward and Christian. The Genesis 8 characters are so much more realistic, and they're getting more and more so all the time. The skins are more detailed than earlier generations. I only use a couple of G3M characters and almost none earlier than that. I stick mostly to G8M.

I find that each of the genesis generations has a strong and weak suit. 

I primarily use G3m for characters in their mid twenties until early 50s if I want a very masculine look.  Until very recently, with the introduction of The Brute, the G8M male bases simply lacked the muscle mass of the G3Ms.  Also, despite all this time, there's still a much better selction of ethnic morphs out there for G3 and I especially folund Lee 8 lacking when compared to Lee 7.  Actually, though, for REALLY macho characters, I'll still jump back to G2 and use skins converted with NGS2 or Beautiful Skins, as for certain body types there has't been anything in the newer generations that's quite as over-the-top masculine as Scott and Gianni 6 without sucumbining to the overbuilt looks of and Ivan, SWOLE, or Brute. 

For OLDER characters, however, I'll default to G8M.  G3M is still wonderfully versatile thanks to having bases like George to work from, but there's so many great older character bases and sets for the eights that it's not even funny.  

And for YOUNGER males in their teens... I'm still defaulting back to G2M again, as it's the generation that had the best support for teen males.    

And, needless to say, I still use Genesis as well, primarily for secondary, background and non-human characters, as it's still the only figure that lets one freely mix male femal and non-human morphs in a single base while keeping the clothing fits.
