Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I noticed that free stuff is not quite as free as it used to be. Inflation? Or a creative new revenue stream? "Hey, what if we *charged* for free stuff?!"

LOL, yeah...the freebies all have prices ;). One more site issue....

Reported and fixed :)
From the people that bought you Daz Soon: Daz Free!
Now that's funny lol
Haha.
I hate (yes hate) the word free being involved in anything in which I have to part with cash.
what free stuff?
There's been a new set of freebies posted at https://www.daz3d.com/free-3d-models , but apparently they weren't actually free earlier today.
The “what free stuf?” may refer to already owning all the free stuff and constantly seeing blank pages here. Sometimes I forget how much older stuffI I already have and have never used... Have to start playing with original Aiko again!
I sense a disturbance, the desire to make A Fish Called Wanda fanart, welling up amongst the Daz peeps...

...must have them all then as all I see are textures for content I don't have.
I've wanted that road roller for the longest time.
Only thing I didn't own:)
I'm afraid you were right.
I actually bought deer whistles & such to keep the rabbits & such warned as I approach but I finally realized if I drive the speed limit my chances of actually hitting one of those animals is practically zero.
All those very flattened animals I saw today on my 150 mile round trip, and there was at least a dozen, are clearly being caused by people going well in excess of the speed limit, which are already much faster than what the roads were actually graded to be safe for; so I don't feel particularly bad when I hear someone whining about how they got their license revoked and such sob stories. The animals they never hit will be glad to see the backside of them.
I did laugh very loud and long though at the hapless Monty Python guy and his even more hapless pancake toy dog in that movie though. LOL,
If only there's a way to search for required products. They're giving textures/mat as freebies and I feel lazy to check my entire library for base products I'm missing.
Doesn't it show you on each product page whether or not you own the required product? I guess unless it was a product originally from RDNA, but that should be rare, if it happens at all. I wouldn't mind a shop filter to filter only products where you have the required products, but you shouldn't need to check your whole library.
If you have Daz Deals, then you can apparently set it to show required products. Find it here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/106296/announcing-daz-deals-browser-add-on/p1
If you're talking about getting the freebie just check the required products link and follow it & if you are logged in it will show it as purchased already or not.
Say, though when at a later date, when you want to use the hair textures freebie from yesterday at a much later date and but don't know where to find the hair it goes with - you go to your 'Product Library' in your browser at the DAZ Store, search for the texture set listing, for to the product page for that listing, add it to your cart again even though your ain't buying it and you will be told of the product(s) required for that hair texture set. It should already be listed under required products on the product page as well before adding to your cart.
