Default Resources/Shaders

Ok, so here is a test render of a scene I'm working on. If you look at the side view mirror on the bus, you can see that its grayish. It was originally back when I first loaded it. I think this model, (GreenPots school bus from Renderosity) was orignally intended to be used by Poser. So I simply went into surfaces, selected the mirror in the surfaces tab and applied the clear glass shader from the default resources pannel, except that there must be a few other things I need to change on the surfaces tab in order to make it appear to actually look like glass.
Does anyone know what else needs to be done?

If you're using Iray, the Metal-Aluminum-Polished shader in /Shader Presets/Iray/Daz Uber folder works pretty well as a mirror. It's part of the Default Resources for Daz Studio 9+ that you get for free.

You may find these useful, there's a mirror preset in the pack as well as many other options, designed for cars etc
