Daz Studio Rigging Problem

So.....trying my first rigging project with DS, and I've encountered a problem.  After following the tutorial the skeleton/bones do not appear to be "linked to the OBJ joints. Suggestions?

    I assume that what you experience is that the mesh stays when moving the bones.

    And if that is the case, I would assume that you haven't done any weigth mapping.

    Try this: with the Node Weight Map Brush tool selected right-click somewhere on the viewport and in the menu choose Weight Editing>Fill by Bone Selection Groups.
