    That sky looks mean!

Your first link (Cliff Face) is an Adam Thwaites download from Mostdigitalcreations. We try to get the closest link possible here in the challenge.

Don't know why it says 3DC in the name, but here is the correct link:

    http://www.most-digital-creations.com/free_poser_poses_textures_morphs_props_24.htm

    second from bottom.

#2 says its "wet rock" but goes to "ear ring collection" at Renderosity... this then takes you also to Adam's site...there is no wet rock on the page so this link is no good.

    http://www.most-digital-creations.com/free_poser_poses_textures_morphs_props_29.htm

    6th down

#8 is the ear ring collection above, but the rules state that any item used MUST BE CLEARLY SEEN WITHOUT HAVING TO BLOW UP THE IMAGE TO SEE IT...even then, I can't see ear rings, so it can't be an accepted item.

#9 same thing...can not see any nose piercings at all even with a blown up image. No good.

#14-15-16 Your last three all go to the same page, you can only use a page link once, so these three will be grouped as one link.

That makes your freebie count now 11, one over the qualified amount, so you still qualify.

If you can fix the links and find the "wet rock" link, you can claim it. Still can't accept the ear rings and piercings because I can't see them even with a blown up image.

One more thing....we always mark any freebie links that go to sites that require registration to get the item. Many use astriks the state that that means site that requires registration. Please go back and mark the ones that require it. The Adam Thwaites site does not require it, if you want to change those links, the Renderosity ones do and really are not even needed.

The host will tag this entry as ACCEPTED or not. It is up to him.

This is why we have rules in here, so please read them carefully.

    :-)
As soon as the noted changes are made, and not before, this entry will qualify. I would also suggest swapping the earring for one more easily seen.

    Nice one, DollyGirl@ Entry Accepted!

    Thanks Eustace, Music and Kismet.

It was fun doing the research for this one. It seems that from the eye-witness accounts that everyone was ignoring McCall and that when he drew his gun the players were all looking at their cards. Hickok had glaucoma. I have a friend that has that and his field of vision is diminished greatly, like non-existent, he can only see straight ahead, because of the disease. So Hickok probably didn't even see the man change stance just before he was shot.

It would be wonderful if someone did a character for M4 or Genesis of Hickok. I read Mrs. General Custer's description of Hickok and I can see why the ladies all fell in love with him, big, tall and comely. He had a way with the words too. I feel my efforts are way to amateurish.

I'm working on NaNoWriMo right now, but I might try a dialspun Bill Hickok for M4 later this month if I get a chance. Do you use the Morphus morph set, Dollygirl? Or just Morphs++?

I figured you all needed a break. I am just a retired senior with lots of time. You however are a PA and all around IT guy. Your daughter has her studies that are way more important than putting info in the gallery. So I don't mind working the gallery since I have reaped some of the benefits of the contest. My way to support a challenge that has helped me improve my skills ever so much.

I don't mind the help, and will happily step out of the way when someone else wants to do the updates. :-) I just wanted to let everyone know that we only check for new accepted entries on Sundays (and on the last day of the contest).

I've asked DAZ about the possibility of putting the Gallery on the new DAZ Gallery Area, but have received no response as of yet (I asked some time ago before the Galleries were public knowledge). What say the members of the forum? Should I pursue the DAZ option more aggressively? The DAZ option will put the Gallery on a higher bandwidth connection, but will also add quite a few restrictions on the updates and such.

I like the gallery we have with you. Allows all those links to be saved. As to being slower I don't mind that. So my preference would be to stay on your site but moving to DAZ is okay too. They do sponsor the contest.

Given how the Galleries operate, I can't really see a group gallery working, to be honest.

Certainly not at the moment anyway. Don't forget the Galleries are still in beta, and throwing up some hissy fits at the moment, especially with the amount of images that are being added even as we speak.

Anyone would think we had been deprived of galleries for some time

I like the gallery the way it is too, as long as a link is put in the challenge a few times at random so folks can go to it. It is set up real nice and easily navigated with the options to see older months and NAEs.

Daz is busy at work with a lot of stuff and this would just slow everything down.

(for example....whenever I first log on, then come in here, all my emoticons are there working fine, but as soon as I post one post, they all go back to text....see!)

"If it ain't broke...don't fix it".....aurthor unknown! Good advice I'd say.

Hi Odaa, long time no hear. Wow you are most kind to offer. I have both morph sets. Gotta love Capsces!

Awesome! I'm done with the writing project now, so I will see if I can get back into the Dial a Face mode, with Morphs++ and Morphus.

And yeah, haven't been around much lately. I haven't figured out whether there's a way to filter picture content on the new forums, and I never did master DS4.5 or Genesis, and when Genesis 2 came out I kind of threw up my hands and stopped tracking new releases. I still find it relaxing to play with DS3A and all my Gen4 toys though. Capces morphs are so awesome.

I still use DS 3 also. I prefer it over 4.5 because after a few clicks in 4.5, it starts slowing down eventually to a crawl.

And that's why my Mephistopolis Noir shaders are explicitly backwards-compatible. I use DS4.5, sometimes 3.1, occasionally 4.6, and once in a while DS2 myself.

    :-)
And that's why my Mephistopolis Noir shaders are explicitly backwards-compatible. I use DS4.5, sometimes 3.1, occasionally 4.6, and once in a while DS2 myself.

Oh how I wish you could get DS2! I have collected some fantastic shaders that I would like to see in action that work only in DS2.

All of your links check out except the Porsimo site, but it could be my machine doing it. That's still 11 out of 12, with a 10-pc threshold. I like what you did with the gun sight. ENTRY ACCEPTED.

PM me an email for your entry gift.

Seems to be a problem with the Porsimo site--just tried to go there through Google and got an error. I will double check it when I have access to my computer @ home. I might have made a typo.
