Ciao.
Have you tried to shape tennis ball?
I do. (io sì)
Had many difficulties and unsuccessful..
I have seen other software tools.
I have seen other software tools that make it easy this modeling.
Hesagon I'm afraid not.

    This is just a quick dirty way but I think you'll get the idea. :)

    Make a Geodesic Sphere. Select the edges that I have. Do a Extract Around. Delete the inner edge loop. Select the inner polygons and make a loop. Do a inner extrude.
    Qick and dirty tennis ball. ;)

    Solly. Looks like a little bug in the forum with the images. They won't come up in the sequence I load them. :(
