You know you have too much 3D content when...

(Finish this sentence. I'll start!)

...Vicky owns exponentially more shoes than you do.

...you move your Studio folder to a new hard drive and Windows tells you it contains 1.5TB of data and will take 8 hours to transfer.

...after a big sale, you can only download your purchases late at night because otherwise DIM eats so much badwidth that Prime Video begins to stutter and it makes your kids angry.

Guilty of this! I'm always disappointed when Jack Tomalin sales happen.  I click on the sale link only to find myself staring at a blank page because I own his whole catalog, lol.

You own more airports than any two U.S. cities combined.

You hate coffee and rarely drink liquor, but own over a dozen coffee shops and twice that many bars.

You have a unique, commercially produced by a PA, dforce outfit for every day for the next eight months.

You own a unique, commercially produced by a PA, G8F character for every day of the year… for nearly two years.

You own even more unique, PA produced G3F characters than you own for G8F.

You don’t even want to know how many V4 characters you own.

You own enough environments and 3D landscapes to qualify for Statehood.

You own enough hair props to give every student at the average US High school a new “do.”

Your main runtime directories had to be moved because they filled a 3 TB hard drive… and you still have hundreds of commercial items that you’ve never even installed.

Your Product Library section on the DAZ web site has over 325 pages.

You keep saying 'wow, that's a neat product' and then realizing you own it already.

You ask if anyone knows a product that....

and all the suggestions are stuff you already own.

    Ouch.

You keep wondering how much you have spent to DAZ. If you haven't recorded it manually, sorry, you have no way to know it. You just tell people who admire your works that you might have spent around $100,000 or so to a software company who always gives away free 3D suite and collecting infinite money from people who like that free thing!

Oh... but you CAN know.  If you install the Daz Deals browser plugin and go to your account's Order History page, it will tell you the full-price value of what you have purchased AND how much you've actually spent.  You really don't want to know.  I've bought the equivalent of a Porsche.

Assuming you have the plugin (https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/106296/announcing-daz-deals-browser-add-on/p1), it should work when you go to your Order History page.  It appears in the upper right corner.  Having said that, I've noticed that it works flawlessly in Chrome, but is a little iffy in Firefox.

You know you have too much 3D content when:

You don't have space on a 6TB external drive for both your content AND your scene files. (The scenes have a 3TB drive of their own)

You haven't used most of your content in nearly a decade because you can't find it (despite knowing it was installed).

Clothing Converter takes a day and a half from G3 to G8, just for the clothing that hasn't been re-released for Genesis 8.

You're terrified to buy the G2-8 CC because you know it'll take even longer. (still gonna do it)

Don't get me started about Genesis. Not even once.

You brain squeals in terror and flees from every orifice when your clothing list opens (for any/every figure you can name).

G3M has more pants in more styles than you've ever owned. Or even thought possible. (No, really.)

Your biggest clothing concern is a baseball uniform for Junpei. (Which I'm still bugging out about)

You switched from Poser to Studio because not paying for software means more outfits for Vicki.

You get snowed under by Christmas cards from PAs (Not a thing that happens to me. It's a thing I heard about).

You start making your own characters to try out the new outfits you just picked up on a fire sale. (Guilty as charged. No, really.)

Might have to pick up the baseball uniform for Little Ones just to have something I can use until I can get one made. Any interested PAs should hit me up.

I have a million and (Genesis) eight of these, but I'll stand down for now. ;)

When more and more you buy less and less. And when the things I want most but haven't bought yet are Skin Builder 8, Wet & Tan Lines for Genesis 8 Bundle, X-Morphs, FluidOS, and Ultimate Freckles for Genesis 8 (or something like that) are all customization products for meshes and their surfaces. So you can see 99% of the viewers wouldn't even notice those products' use (except FluidOS & X-Morphs that is) in a render except for some close up portraiture style renders so nothing that makes me feel urgent to buy.

There is a CHECK BOX in the settings tab when you click the lil Daz Icon. For sure it works in Chrome. Once the check mark is checked, you might need to close your browser (all windows/tabs) and then re-open. I had to do this.

Total Spent & Total Value Own is the FIRST checkbox.

You become a PA almost entirely to buy content.

Sounds familiar... Only not a PA at the moment. Hopefully I'll be able to fix that sometime soon.
