I didn't like the tat things on Zelara and don't like them on Nix either. Nice face and base skin though. Wish it were clear whether there were tattoo-free versions of the alien skins-I could probably kitbash them by going into surfaces tab and swapping bump and normal maps around, but it's a lot of additional work for something I'd be backward converting to G3M, with all the labor that already implies. Money-wise, this one's a pretty good deal IMO. Pro Bundle + 2 textures sets + Michael 8 Bundle + Gia 7 Bundle + Monique 7 Bundle=~$81 dollars for me. Treating the G8M characters as labor-intensive freebies, and assuming the texture addons for Nix 8 outfits are hierarchical presets (extra work for someone backconverting to G3M) and therefore labor-intensive freebies, that translates to 6 useful hairstyles, 2 female base characters, 2 non-base females that I would probably use, 4-5 useful pose sets (some G8m, but easy to convert), 3.5-4.5 mildly useful female outfits, plus 8 male outfits that I can convert fairly easily. That's an average of $3.12 per item that is not labor intensive for me to use.
If I hadn't been spending money throughout the first half of the month, it would be an easy call.
I don't think anyone can answer that question until there is a way to download Xenoman. No download methods available! (Manual, DIM, Connect)

Why is there no Toon Dwayne 8 on the free pro bundle offer, I have everything else on Genesis 8
the free pro bundles are all a toss up for me. The reason I dont have the ones listed for me is that I didn;t need or want them before. The characters are cool, but overall the included clothes and stuff i don;t need. The poses are getting a bit old too..same ofr every character pretty much.
As far as Nix ... I'm still debating
If it was not for Christmas shopping , the pro bundle (and it’s acompanying offers )would have been snapped up already. As it is, buying for others is more important to me right now. I really would love to keep up my habit of supporting development of male content with my wallet but the timing is just wrong for me here. Will probably have to settle for just the base figure and that lovely shaved hair product. Maybe one of the add on characters . Just not sure yet. It’s a fantastic bundle though.
I am so torn. A good alien figure would be nice. But to be honest, I am noticing that many of the additional characters (textures and morphs) look like stuff I have bought with other bundles. I can tell who the secondary vendor is now just by looking at the promo. With several of the vlad characters I felt like I had just bought tweaked face morphs and textures of others I had bought by the same vendors. Love the shaved hair and the faux hawk hair and sort of wish I had waited to get the casual spikes since I prefer the shaved sides. but then, I buy almost all Redz stuff eventually. And like others have said I have all the pro-bundles (or portions thereof) already. Might just be the base model for me. I wish they had starter bundle specials or BYOB.

I just picked up him up. Great deal with two more Genesis 7 pro packs I didn't have. He'll make a great addition to guys in my runtime.

Not into the starter or pro packs but I did get Redz new offering, the base, some poses and one outfit with the texture addon. I'm quite impressed with the face shape. That sold me. Probably won't use him much LOL but I do love that face! Redz new offering was an instant to the cart and buy .... she's so amazing! :-)
why the exospine anyway? doesn;t seem to really fit the character..just sticing on the back.
He's great, and I got him immediately. Now I just wonder:
a. Is there a more 'human' head and face available with Xenoman https://www.daz3d.com/xenoman-for-nix-8 , so I can finally have someone to work with Xenogirl https://www.daz3d.com/xenogirl-hd-for-zelara-8 ? Or is it possible to morph Xenoman's face into a more human look? And is it possible to beef him up a bit, he's a bit skinny looking imo.
b. Is there a male Aureska Hol coming?

I sure wish Nix had come out before Eva--not that I dislike her... if I had to choose it would be Nix.. dang.. so I won't be getting these until they somehow go on sale next year.. maybe for march madness if that is possible.. I wonder if DAZ will have a new year's sale.. or will they start coming out with Genesis 9 sigh...
We are all going to pretend Gen9 will be in July 2019 (or later) for now, LOL! That has been when past couple of new versions come out. July of odd years.
It looks like they offer up the Pro Bundles that are more than a certain length of time old, maybe released in 2017 or earlier. On the Eva 8 Bundle, I don't think they included Alexandra or Edward, but this time they're there. My guess is Toon Dwayne is too new for the freebie deals.
I don't think you need to worry.
Beginning with the release of the original Genesis figures and Victoria 5, Daz has released a new generation female/Victoria every two years in June. If they keep to that schedule, Genesis 9 Female and Victoria 9 will be released in June 2019.
You're real close, @JazzyBear. G3F/V7 was released June 23, 2015 and G8F/V8 was released June 15, 2017. (Dates provided by the official Read Me documentation.)
G9 ... wow .. I'm still on V4 and G3.
the stuff is now in my cart ... my usual deal is to put it in there and then think about the purchase until the next morning..most of the time one of the deals will be gone, then I empty my cart... save a whole lot of cash that way.

How is it possible to hold on 90% off? Geez ... there are a total of 46 products consisting of 4 bundles and 2 add ons for Nix8 ... $1.23 per item. OK, quite a few I will never use.... but I need to commit to rendering at least one image with every purchase....
My guess was that they exclude the ones that are selling best - but it may be that that's my perception because the ones I want aren't generally included. :)
There's also this thing where we have all these "top-level" characters, you might call them? Like there's G8, the (Name) for G8, then (Name) for (Name) for G8. I don't know the official terminology, so I'm calling them Figure > Character > Sub-Character.
So, I've noticed that all those top-level characters are the same price, and their bundles are the same price, but some kind of invisibly include the HD detail product and some don't. Maybe that's part of what determines which ones aren't included?
(I wanna see someone make a sub-sub-character for a sub-character, then a sub-sub-sub-character for them and maybe a sub-sub-sub-sub-character for them - New! Jimmy for Dingo for Adam for Wallaby for Herpothalamus for Pekpojida for Genesis 8! I mean, if you're going to go to that much effort to make your taxonomies confusing, why not go all out? ;) )
((Also also... Can we be done with spines outside the body for a while? We have enough, don't we? Or is that just me? I guess if everybody else just loves that, I can always just not use it easily enough.))

Here are my untouched Nix Renders. I went ahead and did Nix in the basic human colors (when available) and then the non-human colors for comparison purposes. You can see the large versions on my Deviant Art pages.
I do that... :) After my ASD and my ADD battle it out all night as I look at every possible thing that's on sale and decide whether to add it to the list to pare down later. :) If the list of free ones had Floyd or Mabel or Eh... Mostly the ones with HD included - I'd be in a similar position right now.
Well, that, and when I go and buy stuff that's in a bundle, seperately, it gets difficult to talk myself into the bundle then. Like some places will say for anything in the package deal thatyou already own, you get a credit - Here, not so much. So, that makes it difficult to buy stuff that's in a bundle you might buy later, and difficult to buy bundles for which you've already given in and bought other stuff.
(So there's that neurosis I was talking about keeping me up all night weighing options and inclusions before I can buy anything... ;) and yet, even with all that, I still manage to spend way too much money here. :))

Looks that way to me too, all the mostly 2017 G8 Daz Originals - took me by suprise that I'd bought all of them at release apart from Charlotte, Lucas and Stephanie.
