10,000 products - oh my god?!

OK, after having taken a look with Ati's browser plugin, it seems that with my last purchase of Oso's Blendy and the discounted Belinah together with those puppies I really reached the exact amount of 10,000* owned products. Did not see this coming as I even missed out on that 30% gift card some days ago.
Anyhow, missed at least some confetti and warm words from the ceo of DAZ on the confirmation page after checkout.
By the way, what's your number? I hope not to be the only apparently completely crazy person here. OK, I should better start rendering, computer speeds need to increase quite a bit and I probably need to get 250 years old to use all that stuff at least once.
*Sure that number is not really exact as the plugin apparently does not include purchased products DAZ has removed from the store. So well, the exact number might be even higher. Damn it.

and do you free them from dust
from time to time ?
I wonder if you are in the lead with that many products! Wow... that's crazy. And there are how many products in the store? 30.000?
Awaiting the the photo op with the CEO of Daz! ;-)
Oh my god....that is a lot,for me standing at 1600+ started to buy from may last year, and continue....
Not, I think, record-braking - I have 283 pages in my Product Library (* 40 = 11,281 - 11,320) and at least a few people have more than that. Nevertheless, welcome to the club.
From ATI's plugin or by subtracting items store items showing from the total of items in the store -- 12.059. This doesn't account for items no longer in the store so it is a low estimate
From the product library at 40 items per page -- 13,175 This includes entries for bundles as well as each of the included products so it is a high estimate
Currently 14500+
Its not surprising if you do a lot of projects as a hobby. If you do it for a living, those numbers could go a lot higher easily, especially if you don't frequently reuse content.
Wow the 10000 plus club is growing. 14000+, thats a third of the store!
If you look in the DIM log (Settings -> Show Log...) after a refresh, the last entry should show what's in your account, and my total is....
Processed 12266 products with 17907 unique product downloads
DIM has 13067 Installed (some products have more than one part, -01, -02, etc), and 4826 Ready to Install (never gonna happen; Legacy & Poser versions or PoserCF, or other stuff that came along for the ride). Product Library shows 320 pages (12788 entries). Filtering for "Bundle" gives 508 entries, so that's 12280 single product entries, pretty close to what DIM sees. There are probably a few defunct non-DIM product listings that account for the difference (like old Daz Studio versions, old Script development SDK, installation guides).
If you select the checkbox next to Products on the Installed tab, the status line will show the total installed size and the total package size. (Warning: that could take a long time, with no way out).
Installed: 1.3 TB / 933 GB
Ready to Install: 153.3 GB
Where are you guys seeing this 'total products owned' number? Yeah, there's the front page, where you can click 'show only owned', but that doesn't show all of the products you purchased through Daz, just the ones that are currently in the store. .I looked for a few 'discontinued' products from my product library, which are still there, but those no longer show up on the sales pages.
That being said, I did a Daz backup recently... one of the folders had over a million items in it. Yeah, all of those textures, .dufs, etc. can really add up!
Took me about a day to do that backup... to an external USB drive.
Anyways, enjoy all of those products! Even if some of them may just remain buried in your product library...
no AM stuff in sale?

12570 products in the DAZ Product Library in the store, plus another 100 or so items that I've picked up as freebies in magazines and bought direct from DAZ back when they used to sell items on CDs at conventions. Plus a little over 5000 products from Renderostiy after the BOGOs are all added in.
The easy thing is to count the number of pages in you product library in your account page at DAZ, then divdie by 40 and, since the last usually doesn't run to the full 40 products per page limit, subtract the difference.
I... almost hope I won't some day belong to the 10k+ club.
Why? There's cake... :D
The numbers are suffocating! lol Presumably, used for most renders or just got buried and never been surfaced.
Congratulations to all! Daz-Deals total: 10,318; Product Library: 10,977
Almost 9000 from just the daz shop.....well over 10000 if you include other purchases and freebies.
And digital cookies. :)
Yowsa! When using DIM recently I was amazed when my total went over 1000 but now it's obvious I'm just an newbie.
I'd better switch back to the store tab right away!
Backups can take a while, but do sequential ones after the main - takes less time.
Ease US backup is a pretty good free one. You can't save backup profiles if you have to reinstall, but if you find the location where they are stored you can save em. I save backups to Disk that slips in a caddy, so it isn't permanently connected, if it isn't there it complains, but works once plugged in.
Daz thanks you!
Sometimes it makes me think of this quote I picked up form someone's signature once: "It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others."
I think that's all you get. Have a byte, if you like...
It's kind of crumby, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
Or to make someone who's got over 12500 think "well, I'm bad, but at least I'm not THAT guy..." :)
That better be some hella amazing cake considering the amount spent to get to that number, LOL
I don't feel so bad now, I just have over 3500, not counting a large amount from Rendo, Content paradise, poserworld, turbosquid, CGTrader and a few other places. I guess making lots of my own mesh helps out in that regard. Now I just need to get more commercial work done to recoup more of the costs, LOL.
Is this the number you are looking for?
Can't decide if the 19844 is products I own or what remains shown after taking off what I own. So it's either 19844 or 10,547.
I can't imagine where I would be if I joined in 2005. because in two years I have 5000 Daz products. The scariest part is the amount I've spent. And what you have and what you spent are two different matters. As a buyer I think it's better to have been here for years and snagged a ton of freebies. But if I were a PA artist I would think that sucked and would appreciate people who supported me via sales. It's not about how much you own it's about how much you support the community (I suck at that) and the artist (I'm better at that.) This thread reminds me of a vacation I took in Maui. We were up in a bluff overlooking the ocean. A friend of ours who owned a transmission supply chain, had a canon rebel camera and we had a point and shoot. And the size war was lost. My hubby promptly ordered pro Nikon cameras and a ton of lens 600ml etc. My fav was an 80 to 400. It's not what you got but how you use it that counts. But I will share this secret with you. The reason my hubby doesn't give me grif over what I buy here is because he has 2000+ movies he paid $15. to $20+ for. So 10K here I come. Just joking. The part I hate is organizing it all.
