Hello!
I just tried this ( http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/26912/ ) and it won´t work.
HOW CAN I INSTALL THE CONTENT MANUALLY? WHERE IS A DESCRIPTION?

if you are tying to install Carrara content once you unzip the archive's go into the first level folder and copy to content to the first level folder of your Carrara 8.5 install folder.
As with all Carrara content apart from the native content any extra content you will need to add the folder location within the browser tabs within Carrara.
...so it´s possible to install the content outside the carrara-8.5-install-folder or the user-account-documents-folder? Hmm... I´ll give it a try... (Right now "Check for runtimes" is possible to click - hours before it was impossible!)
If it helps. Neil; has just talked me through the basic install, so now I have this.
