Thank you for posting this and I got them, tried to thank at the item page at renderosity but I'm not familiar enough with the freebies there I guess :lol: because I couldn't add a thank you there but I really like them and will try them later today, -in Poser AND in DS ;-)

Here is a quicky render of Dawn wearing those pumps (with a nice matching diffuse Wolffie Green to go with the material of the clothing....
I made the crop top and shorty shorts for Dawn this afternoon. Also got the Supersuit well on it's way. Got all the material zones polished and it looks like it's going to be useful and fun to play with.
Created a starter gown and robe set in ZBrush for the new mesh maiden..... not sure how this will rig, I've NO experience in that area.
This is 100% Dawn mesh. It's not mine. Chris posted it on Hivewire's FB page.

Thanks Heather. Now I need to get some rigging snafus fixed and I can add in some detail and movement morphs. I've always wanted a sleeve crunch down morph for when the arms are up so I'm looking forward to making those in ZBrush! :-)
Here's the rough rigging with a pose. Using the ultra fabulous Midsummer Nights Dream hair by Valea with the horns turned off. The hair transferred over to Dawn with NO funny bends or kinks. Don't know what Chris and co did to make the mesh's weight mapping this fabulous but YAY!

Well, the Hivewire forums are down today for what ever reason. DAZ's own forums keeps messing with my notifications and having to log on even here in the forums lately is getting a bit ridiculous. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
If you don't mind getting an ebot for every single post that is made to threads that you subscribe to you can always go into your Control panel / Email Settings, and take the tick out of "Enable Smart Notification"
I finally picked this up and then eventually got around to creating a clone for genesis. I was suprised at how easy it was. I managed to get genesis clothing to fit dawn! Wasn't that happy with the fit at the back so redid the clone but this time used basic female. I seem to be getting a better fit at the back this time and i didn't have to use any smoothing.
Do you think this is what may be causing these lapses in notifications Cho??

The smart Notification sends out an ebot when a post is made. If you don't visit the thread within a certain amount of time after that post has been made it assumes you have lost interest, and so doesn't send you any more notifications, at least that is how I assume it works. Don't quote me on that though, as I could very well be wrong.
When you take the tick out of that box you are notified of every post that has been made to the thread, at least that was how it worked for me.
Personally I mostly gave up on subscribing to threads a while back, and now check by "View New Posts", but I know that doesn't suit everyone.

Well gave that a try but yea, I end up with notifications for every post made. I think the smart notification needs some more tweaking. Just because I don't visit a thread just after I get a notification doesn't mean I'm no longer interested in the topic, it means I'm busy with life or some other project so if indeed the system is set up to be smart like that I don't think it's smart, I think it's annoying and really bad. I have about 50 threads I'm subscribed to, I'm lucky to get 3 or 4 notifications a day. So then I have to go track down each thread unsubscribe and resubscribe to it in order to get it working again. That' a waste of my precious time. :coolmad:

I have a female character I am about to release at HW3d(you seen her a few pages back)...but it is policy at that site to not have any genitals at all on the characters.
You know me...and how Ideally I would like to release all my characters with as many realistic details as possible.
Would you as customers hesitate in buying this character without genitals?
I have no interest in setting up a store at another site like rosity to sell such things, so that is not the issue. I am just curious if I characters sold like this will leave people disappointed. (this will help me decide as to how much I can support dawn in the future)

While I don't use genitals at all for 99.9% of the work I do I do like a HINT of something going on down there. Like maybe a bit of pubes or something to denote that this is a human being! lol
Yeah...even pubes are outside of what they are allowing.
(I had the character done complete.....so I am actually going back to get rid of this stuff to conform to their policies)

I don't do a lot of nudes, but when I do, I don't want to have to hunt for the "one character" that may be complete.....
It won't bother me, especially since this is one of the nicest looking characters I've seen so far for Dawn, and one that supports DS.

I have to be honest, here. I am terribly excited to see Kerri for Dawn, but I most likely will not purchase her if she is not at least fundamentally complete. As was mentioned, I don't need detailed maps, but I do need more than Barbie smooth.
It's far more work (for potentially very little gain), but is there any way to release the unmodified maps as an additional download (from the site of your choosing) if customers provide proof of purchase? That might make the decision a little more palatable for those of us wanting or needing a complete character, and if you make her a dollar or two more expensive, it might help offset the additional work (although by how much I don't know).
Hey RAWN, do you still have our website or better yet upload a freebie hip map replacement option that included genital and pubes up at ShareCG. Folks won't be able to use it if they don't have the character so shouldn't be a big deal. Now if Hivewire takes issue with that then I think that's going overboard with rules and regulations.
Her completeness in the genital area has no bearing at all on my decision to buy her when she is released.
Just visit the thread, no need to unsubscribe and resubscribe. That' the whole point, it emails to tell you there's been a post and then shuts up, since you know the thread has had traffic.
I can understand not having the promos showing anything,but if they will not even allow it on the texture, then that is a no sale for me, sorry. I will also have to think twice of even supporting Dawn now with this kind of backward ridiculous thinking. Kinda like how I don't usually buy from a vendor that sells characters and doesn't include nude promos when the site actually allows it.
To think i have had Dawn in my cart for awhile waiting on the paypal option and was going to spend some money on her this week, guess i can get some more stuff for genesis and V4 now.
After speaking with Hivewire today we have come to an agreement where information as to where to download texture files for a version of Kerri that is "complete" will be included in the readme files that come when you purchase the character.
I think this is a fair compromise, and I am thankful that they allowed it.

YAY. I'm sorry but you can't stop a successful artist/merchant such as yourself from doing what needs to be done. I'm so glad an agreement was met.
Sounds like a good plan, and I am excited. I never (really, never!) need genital details, so I'd be really sad if something like that held her release up.
