Bryce 7p animation problem

edited June 2012 in Bryce Discussion

I've been experimenting with making a planet with a cloud layer in Bryce 7. For some reason when I render the animation, most of the formats (mp4, even uncompressed) produce a skewed, discolored output. But Microsoft Video1 does not (it produces a low resolution output instead).

1) Any idea why this would be?

2) How do I change the rendering resolution to something small, 320x240 or 720x480 so I can get quicker renders while I'm experimenting/testing?

Thanks.

P.S. Just rendered using "Camstudio Lossless" and it worked fine. Hmm...

Just found the resolution thing, too.

The best format is 100% UNCOMPRESSED AVI format for PC Bryce. For Mac Bryce, 100% UNCOMPRESSED Animation Quicktime Movie.

You can find another app or video editing software that will convert this format to whatever else you desire, but always use an uncompressed format.
