    I had problems with my notebook and its built in keyboard.  I contacted HP and they said that my notebook was under warenty only for hardware not software.  In order for them to fix a software or driver issue I would have to pay $$$ but they said that if I go elsewhere I would have to pay  $$$$.   Hmmm I do not want to pay $$ so I decided to research and figure it out myself.  With some work by myself I got the built in keyboard to work, but still trying to figure out how to get the mousepad to work.  I know some need to have help with computer issues such as software and drivers but I feel like spending money on tech support is a last option if an option at all.  I know that for some not going to tech support first would cause them to spend more in the long run, but I feel like I am not one of those people.  I think I know what I am doing.

    Anyway it is almost time to get off the train so I gotta go.

    The blutooth keyboard on my dad's computer stopped working once.  I had to reinstall the blutooth driver.

    The thermometer outside says 89 degrees F.  My city is in a heatwave in the middle of June.  Yuck.

    I am thinking of putting a different version of Ubuntu on my Lenovo, but still keep win 10 on the hp.  I do not want to get rid of the Lenovo but it has no good battery and requires to be plugged in at all times.  I like my HP because it has a good battery.

    Right now my HP is booting but I am on the lenovo.  The HP is on battery power which I like to do frequently so it does not end up with a nonworking battery like the Lenovo.  Is it true that leaving a notebook or laptop plugged in all the time ruins the battery?

    I am spending time by myself but slight issue.  I am next to a dip and chips.  Everyone else is in the pool.  If I am not careful and thoughtful, no one else would get any dip or chips.  Why the torment of leaving food near me and then walking away?

    I wouldn't be very concerned about that.  I've watched the YouTube titles.  It was coming in April, then the end was in May, then in June.  Eventually they'll be predicting it in December.

    I put it down with the others so I will not be tempted any more and to make sure they got some.

    Non-complaint:  The weather has been fantastic for several days.  Clear, blue skys, high of low 70s (F) in the day, mid 60s at night.  I know,  I've been watching it through my window. frown  I haven't been going out because I'm low on cash, it must last until through Tuesday.  But tomorrow I'm going out though, finally.  It's garbage day, and breakfast day at a local restaurant, and there's a crafts faire in one local town, and an amusement fair in another town, and it's flea market day in a third town.  Weather looks as if it will hold until late afternoon.  Yea, a mini-adventure all day long. yes  I can fritter my cash away tomorrow and hibernate until Wednesday morning. enlightened

    Early morning in the desert. Sage and creosote scenting the air. Red wing blackbirds showing off in a blur of scarlet and black.I love their calls the most of any bird, musical and disonant at the same time.

    tried to nap but dualing neighbors outside amps makin impossible 1 side has guns n roses otherside playing the who.

    Non-complaint:  Weather good, low 80s, clear to partly cloudy.  Will probably rain tonight.  Went to breakfast in town east of me.  Parking was inconvenient because of the crafts fair along the other street today but that's the reason I came early and had breakfast at 9:00.  Then walked the fair looking at the mostly useless craft kitsch but I did find one booth that had some nice semi-precious gemstone jewelry and some loose mineral samples.  I picked up one for my collection and found out that there is a big mineral and gem show in Erie, PA in early July.  Yea!  Another excuse to go on a mini-adventure to Erie. 

    After breakfast and the fair I drove north up to the top of the lake to the weekend fleamarket and found the little Amish lady with the yummy loaves of bananna bread, yum!  Did the fleamarket scan in about 10 minutes and found nothing I couldn't live without. (other than bananna bread).  On the way back I stopped at the local fruit stand and picked up a quart of fresh strawberries and some homemade biscuits to make strawberry shortcake tonight and the next three nights.

    I'm still debating with myself if I want to try to go to the amusement fair in the town south of me tonight at 6:00.  Parking will be hell and I hate walking long distances in hot weather.  There's really no excitement at the amusements but I just like the smells and the dings and gongs and whirs and jabbering people for about 10 minutes and perhaps even buy a hot dog.

    Exactly! I don't even like to eat the food, but love the smell of a fair. Frying dough, meat on a stick, roasting chicken. Even the small fair's rides look cool at night, all their lights flashing as they whirl kids around and they scream in delight...or terror.

    Well, I went to the fair, got there early enough to find a parking spot only about a half a block from the entrance.  Walked up and down the midway in 10 minutes, then ambled off lot to the local ice cream parlor for a chocolate sundae.  Quick trip that has satisfied my itch for blinky lights and sweaty noisy people for the year.

    lol. I love fair food so I gotta get a bunch of it. I starve myself for 2 days beforehand. I stick with a liquid diet for those 2 days. I sure can eat the hell out of some sausage, hoagies, and fries. Maybe thats why I'm getting a gut.

    Went to a local pub for a very late lunch... Had Guinness braised pot roast... And a few Guinnesses...

    They gave one of my daughters some crayons... So I decorated the paper tablecloth protector...

    Mr. Cuddles is an extraordinary hamster.
