what character or outfit is this?

in The Commons

 its on the march madness banner and the woman has a long black hair and white underwear and sorta looks gothic/lolita , with bows down the bellty  and its black and white is it a character or character and cloths etc?

    That's between DAZ, the PAs and volunteers. I also would've preferred if the products used in promo pictures are available for purchase here.

    But, if they use it on a promo here, we get to find out about so many great products that we might otherwise have missed. And the fact that people often ask about these products is my evidence that this is so.

    I'm not. We get more versatility because of that; some PAs don't sell at Daz I believe, for whatever reason.

    I don't see it as a big deal. Limiting yourself to buying from a single store means missing out on some great content,

    Believe me I'm all for creativity and variety. I also buy stuff at HW3D, 'rotica and Renderosity.

    A picture is just a picture. It becomes a big deal if the promo pictures use copyright-infringing items and people start asking where to get them. I swear half the discussion about two recent products got their replies deleted by moderators.

    I gotcha, didn't realize you were talking about the WW promo image. yeah, DAZ should have swapped promos images out once they realized that situation. The posts were deleted because they discussed legality issues which is against the TOS.

    I think most store site forums have rules about discussing copyright infringing items, and would have had comments deleted from threads for that reason. A better option would have been to say you didn't know where it could be bought and report the image to the tech support for using copyright violating content.

    To be fair daz put the character promo on their banner, and the character happens to be wearing an outfit sold elsewhere. My fault there too but sometimes when you make a character and have a vision for her you gotta use what you have whether its something elsewhere, something 10yrs old, something you make, etc. It does suck for customers who might want unavailable content but idk this is the only art I get these days lol.
