Cannot decide which is best here and there isn't a huge amount of info on AniLip. I want one to be as realistic as possible and with no lag with the speech to animation. What is the best here of the 2 please?

Have not tried Mimic Live yet.
AniLip's animation is very good, because it's sending a string of morph and viseme data from within. It's my understanding Mimic relies on speech recognition, which means it has to process incoming audio, then convert it to morph and viseme strings.
How good that works depends on how well you speak, and your computer's processing power, and the latency in your audio interface.
AniLip does not require you to use the TTS voices, but while some of those available on the open market do sound good, most require an expensive subscription plan, and can go up to 10x the price if you use them in YT videos, whether you're monetizing them or not.
Does anyone have any compare and contrast clips out there.
