This is a great set. I converted an old medieval tavern to iray and added a bunch of bill boards. it was hard to get this lit with just candles ...Ha Ha

I was thinking a medieval sailor or pirate expansion to this set would be awesome additions

I am so glad you like it!  A pirate set would be fun.  I love the composition of this image!  It looks really good!    However, it looks like you didn't turn some of the billboards to face the camera?

yeah I had a hard time positioning the guys sitting in the tavern chairs which kind of threw off a flat look I properly should have changed out the chair

I just used the chairs that came with the poser medieval tavern set that I converted to Iray. Ive been trying to get some of my older content that I still use alot converted to iray. I'm setting up 3DU  Pirate village set next. I'll populate it with bill board props  I have a ton of these crowd bill boards I have picked up around different stores and venders. I have one set I bought from 1971's store back a long time ago , which is not even offered anymore. that will load 88 people as one crowd all at once. for large, large crowds for stadiums and concerts etc.  these bill boards are very useful for my style of art. So keep em coming :)

Off the top of my head, that looks like the slight tinting that can be added through the soft mask is messing it up.  I would try turning the soft mask off.

I was helped by another advice given by Kitsumo to turn billboards by 1 degree to eliminate their overlap. Nevertheless, thanks for trying to help and thanks for billboards. They are very helpful. Hope to see more billboards from you in the future.
