Whats the difference between all of the choices? What is your recommendation when using it for animation with Victoria 4?

    Assuming you mean in 4.6. OSD Catmark is the new default. And it should probably be used for most stuff, unless the object has "bad" geometry in the mesh, which the old Catmull-Clark algo was more forgiving of. If the object mesh is primarily tris instead of quads, then choose OSD Loop.

    I have been doing a little testing on Sub-D and before when I applied Sub-d on certain meshes the mesh would break apart so I tested on some meshes that I know do this but with the new OSD Catmark this spliting doesn't happen so I am well pleased.

    What the differences are I have no idea..too techy for my brain to handle. :)
