Will the markus zombie skin work with ANY Genesis 3 figure.

6 Iray Skin Materials for Markus Zombie. Give him the scary skin that he deserves! Also included are three LIE Presets. Since they act as overlays they can be used on top of the existing textures.

love the blotchy skin. Would love to use that for other genesis 3 characters.

It mentions LIE. not sure what that implies in regard to using that skin with other characters.

Any insight?

    Yes, it will work with any G3M. For G3F you need the G3F to G3M UV swapper.

    LIE means that you have an overlay to the skin, but that will work on any G3M, too.

    LIE presets can be applied over any texture using the same UVs (well, technically they could be applied over any texture, but it might not align well).

    The skins will work on any G3M but there's no guarantee that the result will look "good" without the morph applied.

    Well, unfortunately, Markus Zombie Skins have their own special UV set (Undead Unified), not the generic Genesis 3 Male UV, so it won't line up on the female using UV swap. Not even close. All textures (except the mouth and teeth) are in one file, not the 4 or 5 used by Genesis 3. Now if someone can figure out how to get that UV onto Genesis 3 Female...

    Oh, yes, I missed the custom UVs part... That doesn't change anything for using the textures on other G3M characters, but really limits what you can do with the LIE presets.

    To use the skins on G3F you could try using Map Transfer to convert them to G3M UVs then use the UV swap product.

    So many tools, so little time, so little info on how to use them. Okay, that works famously, once I figured out how to use it. If you have the UV swap installed, you can transfer directly to the female UV, since it is in the list of available maps.
