What are the advantages of purchasing other Genesis figures?

I can only speak from personal experience, but the advantage of later models are the nuances. Better bends, softer features, more accurate proportions. However, at this current time, these are not huge leaps from where you are (Genesis 2). Unless you really, really need (emphasize need, not want) to have the new shiny, it's better to stick to what you know and are comfortable with, building your library from there. That's more cost-effective and, ultimately, will get you everything you'll need in the long run.

And what would Barbie be without a Ken (heed the article warnings). This is the same fellow who almost lost his nose to a post-operative infection, too. And he's not alone.
