Is there a "Portia Hair-style" for G3F or G8F ?

Good day everyone, I am searching around if there is the "Portia" Hair style for the Genesis 3 or Genesis 8 female?

- This hair style... https://www.daz3d.com/portia-hair (it seems to only be for the older models V4)

If none is available, which other hair-style do you think I may be able to acquire - so I can recreate this classic hair style.

The reason is that I am working on some new female models from the late 1940s, 1950s and this

hairstyle is great for these models. It can also look great on recent models for the 21st century.

- My new classic female models (actresses) will be made available fto everyone for Free when I finish them wink

Any help is greatly apreciated!

Cheers

MAX

    You can try https://www.daz3d.com/sonia-hair-for-genesis-3-and-genesis-8-female-s

It's very similar. Be warned that it's very heavyweight in a scene, though; the one time I've used it so far, I had to turn it off in the scene until I was ready to render because it made the viewport very sluggish and difficult to move around in.

Have you seen https://www.daz3d.com/portia-hair-2 for Genesis and G2F? Since it is a shorter hair style, it may autofit well to G3 and G8.

You can use any hair on any figure. Load the hair, but don't autofit it. Then move it into position so that there is a snug fit. Parent it tom the head and then apply a smoothing modifier with collision set to the figure and it will work perfectly in most cases.

If you plan to use it again, just save as a support asset - figure/prop.

Thank you so much for that valuable information! yes I will try it.

This 3d-stuff is all new to me, but I will soon get the hang of it ,

and as I have promised earlier, my models will  be posted to all for free use one day.

Here is a lovely actress I am still working on this past week. It is still WIP. I am using the G3F model as a starting base

and I am using a face morph to sculpt out her face. I still need to get her eyebrows correct and her pointy-round nose a little

more into shape. Everyone knows this lovely lady, her real name was Norma Jeane Mortenson, but photographers hardly took

any side-profile pictures of her, perhaps because she had such a pointy nose cheeky
