But that is just the people part, what about the wearable part. I'm guessing if you select the people and wearable option and then select DO's and then genesis 3 male and female from the drop down you should be good.

It's just a tattoo option. You can render with or without.
Don't feel bad, i wouldn't buy that either.
I'm not much for tattoos on my 3D people, so tattoo options on a character won't sway me to purchase, nor will the horror eye options, etc. And I'm not going to pay extra for a character because they have tattoo and/or horror options. However, I won't pass on a great character because of the options, either. If the price is higher than the norm, I may put it in my wishlist until the price gets discounted by 60% or more, though. (Unless he is from DarwinsMishap(s) or GypsyAngel. Life is too short to wait to put one of their gorgeous boys into my runtime!)
As far as the tat is concerned it's very tame compared to ones that I've seen on people on the streets or at the beach
I bought her not because of the tat but because of the number of options
Oh and the tat goes real well with the Goth Princes outfit along with the Librarian hair

It is hard to create a good story without good and bad. It would be a sad thing if the content library only catered to wholesome, healthy, good looking characters. Hard to create a sense of conflict without a character for the opposition. This character with the tats, she isn't really any different than a troll or an ogre or a dragon. Something bad for your good characters to fight or be terrorized by.

Thank you, L'Adair! :) I wanted to honor my first character by making her my avatar. lol Now I just have to wait until some of the money from her sales roll in so that I can buy some high res skin photos so that I can make another charater to sell. :) Lori uses mainly skin photos that I took myself, but I don't want to reuse the same skin, so waiting until I can get more high res skin photos has been a pain.
I'm confused about these Flash Sales. Maybe I've not read the fine print before but it sounds contradictory.
The print says 'or 60% off with the purchase of a new release!'
Then right below that it says "Discount excludes new releases"
Ok, so how can you get 60% off any Flash Sale item with the purchase of a new release when it goes on to tell you the discount EXCLUDES new relases? Either I'm dense, or something is shady. What am I missing?
A new release in your cart increases the discount on the (not new) items from the flash sale.
New releases by the vendors in the Flash sale are not discounted. They, and all other new releases, can be used as qualifying item to trigger the 60% discount on older items.

In order to qualify for 60% off you can buy any current new release by any vendor (including new PC+ items from DAZ). This will give you a 60% discount on any non-new items by one of the vendors on Flash Sale.
If any of the vendors in the Flash sale has a current new release, you could also buy that to trigger the 60% discount. However, the discount will apply only to older items. For the new item, you pay whatever the current marked price is.
This is a fairly common pattern in DAZ sales.

I hope you dropped a cheap new release in the cart so you could get the 60% discount. If not, rebuild your cart, throw a cheap new release in there and take a screen shot and put in a help ticket. They should refund you the difference between that and what you paid. :)
To long time buyers out there, which of the old hair products (V4, Genesis, G2) wold you recommend that looks great with the UHT2 or OOT shaders?
In the Jogging aniBlocks for Genesis 8 Female, the Interactive License is zero dollars. Is that a mistake? None of their other products have a license.

My all-time favorites are Wildcat, Silvermoon, Janna, Choko, and Lilyanne.
GN Elven locks up DAZ, as does Cody. Dunno why.

Is there a way to filter the PC+ items OUT of the DAZ Originals so they don't show up? The coupon sadly doesn't include them.
They work well on most of them. There are a few that get a little weird. Another option is PhilW's Hair Luster shaders. I use those on top of the original shaders. You can adjust the strength too, so the original shaders are still intact. Just did a promo out today using PhilW's stuff on Milen Hair for G2. I put it in my gallery here.

I can tell you I use the OOT shaders on absolutely everything, and everything looks great. Even some old Kozoburo hairs.
If you have the Daz Deals plugin, you can click on the "PlatClub Coupon" link above the filters and it will display Daz Originals only, without the PC+ items.
