Between my camera and another app, I could make quite a bit of these myself, but at these prices why bother? lol

...yes they are, If I had a means to use them I'd definitely get both the Water and Atmospheric Bundles, but I only have PSP X4. PSP X5 (or was it, X6?) and up will let you load ..abr brushes without having to convert them first. Both are obsolete now as X7 is out, which is only available as an electronic download (you have to pay an extra 10$ now for a backup DVD no more "boxed" version).

They will work as is in GIMP no conversion required, which for free is well worth the price, it's what I use for post work.

Use ABRViewer to convert full brush sets at once to PNG.
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/abrviewer/

From there, you can open the PNGs in PSP and resave them as PSP brushes (unless you're more comfortable using the PNGs themselves)

Watch the second video (little over 3 minutes) on this page to view the entire process (ABR -> PNG -> PSP Brush).
    http://www.michelespaintshop.com/eps-to-psp-custom-brush.php
The video is named Photoshop ABR to Paint Shop Pro PspBrush

...I do have Gimp however working with layers in PSP seems to come easier to me.

If I could upgrade from X4 to X7 I would but they only allow doing so from the previous 2 versions so I have to pay the "new user" price and with the extra cost for the backup disk it comes to nearly 50$

The option I just gave you is completely free, save for any cost of the brushes you buy. :P

...I already have the converter and tried it in the past and somehow it always seemed there was a step missing that I needed to do so I could get only so far.

The other reason I'd like to update is the newer versions (since X6) have 64 bit support.

Anyone else having issues with Fast Grab price changes? Most of them are 70% off or more but some are shifting back & forth to 50% in the store & in my card.

No, I'm not seeing that. I just purchased a fast grab item, and I didn't see any price change.

...when I click on a product to put it in my cart it reverts to 50%.on the product page.

Even stranger, when I went back to the fast grab page a bunch of the single brush products now now 86% off while some (including all the bundles) are only 50% off

This site update was definitely not ready to go live.

To recreate the two bundles I was looking at now comes to over 20$ instead of 9.50$

    So much for that.

The film effects of Ron's is over $10 when put in the cart. Definitely wrong.

Having the same issue -- Ron's Atmospheric Bundle is 86% on FastGrab and the product page, but only 50% off in my cart.

    Very sad. :(

..cleared cache, refreshed the page, still the same so it's definitely on Daz's end.

Also having the 50% issue with Ron's Milk. But I've seen it with other items and it keeps changing.

Thought they claimed that the new site update just changed the front end, not the back end? So it should be no more or less stable then it was before the update? I've had issues with price changes in the past but it does seem worse recently.

Could be a conflict glitch as I discovered Deviney's brushes are also featured in the "Resources and Add On" Sale.

Crikey, love to get the Atmospheric Bundle at 86% off, for me it's still showing 50%

    -----

ETA, just did some quick calculation and what we were seeing earlier on the bundles was indeed a glitch in pricing.in the customers' favour.

70% off of 29.95 actually comes to 8.99$

What apparently was happening, the bundles were first getting the 50% discount for the "Add On" sale and then another 70% for Fast Grab which would explain the 4.49$ price. (30% of 8.99 is 4.49).

Bloody indecision on my part, could have bought both bundles for the same price as one at the normal FG discount. Now at only 50% they are out of my budget.

OK, yes, I'm seeing it now. Maybe my page refreshed. I just bought Ron's Angel Dust and I think the discount is as advertised. Now it doesn't even show in the Fast Grab for me and I DON'T have hide items checked. Definitely something strange going on.

I noticed that most individual items are 86% off but the bundles are 50% off.

...several of the non bundle items are only 50%

    Ron's Milk
Ron's Explosions (which I was hoping to get along with the 2 bundles)
    Ron's Film Edges
    Ron's Flourishes
    Ron's Cyborg Parts

    One is 70%

    Ron's Background Images and Textures

...yeah, picked up Emmawynn as well last night.

OK anyone else who purchased one or more Ron's Brushes bundles not see everything show up in the DIM? I only had three of the items (Particles, Steam & Smoke, and Rain) appear in the "Ready to Download" tab. When I look at my Product library all the items from the bundles are there and do show they are "DIM Ready".

Also, since one is supposed to be able to use any of these in GIMP and later versions of PSP, how do I get Ron's Rain to install to my Deviney folder? In the DIM I keep getting the error:

Install Manager cannot find a required path. The package for "Ron's Rain" requires that the installed path for "Photoshop CS6, CS5 [etc], .." be defined. Make sure that the path for the application is present on the "Applications" page of the "Settings" dialog, then try again.

Is there any way to bypass this?

Add an entry in DIM's Settings > Applications, say it's Photoshop but give the path to GIMP instead (or to wherever you want them installed).
