FaceGen Generated Skin Question

I've been using FaceGen lately to make custom faces and then tweaking them in DAZ and ZBrush.  Works great, except the skin quality coming out of FG leaves a lot to be desired.  I usually clean it up in Photoshop and get it looking good if I render without lights (with just the headlight), but sometimes when I light the figure, the skin is totally blown out and overexposed with some of the IRay lights.  Is there a guide somewhere for basic skin settings for the surfaces tab that can help me with some of those settings (at least as a starting point)?  If someone has experience tweaking the skin coming out of FaceGen I'd love to hear from you too.

I would think it is more to do with the headlamp than the skin. Using the headlamps and not a proper light set will tend to do that in my experience. Try using the IRAYUber shader since the textures coimng from FG might not be in IRAY format.

Thanks.  Applying the shader made it way better.
