aniMate2, DAZ 4.9.4.117 it does not work with "iREAL Animated Butterflies"

Hi all,

We have an absolutely clean and new installation of Daz3D. It is a Windows7 x64 system.
Xeon CPU with 96 GB Ram and NVIDIA Quadro FX4800.
The installed DAZ3D version is 4.9.4.117 Pro Edition (64-bit) and registered full version of aniMate2.
We installed now only the content product "iREAL Animated Butterflies".
Step 1: we load from "Figures" in the SmartContent tab the "iABW butterflies multi" into the scene
Step 2: we select the objekt in the "Scene" tab
Step 3: we go to "aniMate2" tab and make a new track for the selected objekt
Step 4: we load the aniBlock "iREAL Animated Butterflies an Wisps" and drag and drop to the AniMate2 track
Step 5: we press the play button in the "aniMate2" tab
but NO ANIMATION!

We have tried this several times without a positiv result ... ;o(
We bought aniMate2 exclusively for this content!

So we try to animate another object.
We use therefore "Genesis 3 Female" and "Sultry Walk" and it works perfect!
We contact the author of the content but hi has no idea to solve this problem ...
So what we do wrong?

Here the last lines from the log file to the content:

Did you test to assgin track for individual battefly figure? (or prop?)

because in scene tab, you seems select top  group node. if you extract it, is not there another root node to controll all?

Though I am not use animate 2 often, but I remember, when I set prop aniblock for top  group node it never worked.

each truck need to set for actuall node I think. but top group node usually  not have any controller witch link with child nodes.

then in your pic, it is discribed to set position/scale of the mass(group)  only.

I do not know, how this prodcut work but maybe, your set aniblock which  not record any translation or animation about top group node.

  • We can't expand the object in scene tab.
We try this also ... ;o)
There is no sub groups of hip, bones etc.
Only one sub group for material change ...
    Thx

I check you tube tutoriall, then just hope to conrim, did you select sub-item which you expand root, then add aniblock?

because, vendor actually did so. not select root, but as you said, he select sub-group, then material change, and add track(aniblock)

    keep his selection.

Yes the sub item is actually mesh, then it can link for morph parameters, then aniblock can change morph value.

try again, not select root, but sub item of the group.

  • Your make my day "kitakoredaz"! ;o)
YES, now we try to use the sub object and the animation works perfectly!
Thank you for the reference and why am I not come on it myself?
And you're right, in the video tutorial you can even see the subobject.
    I'm ashamed of it a little ...
Many thanks and a happy weekend! ;o)
