JCMs creation.

Ok I know how to make them as I work in zBrush a lot and save them as well. The issue is that when assigning them to work with a specific character only, that is where it gets screwy.
I placed them into the hierarchy as 2ndary sub_comp. Under the character I want the jcm to work under and then I saved the jcm as morph asset. Sometimes the morph will work under a normal g8 character (working with g8 now) instead of just under the character I want it to work under.
Could someone walk me through the process when creating a jcm and where to place it correctly so it will only work with the character instead of the whole.
Thanks in advance.

So I suppose you set type as "Multipe" correctly as 2nd sub-component of Character morph, there is "Save with",, how you set it?
One thing I think it not better for me, you seems try to plug your JCM as sub-component of character morph.
of course it work,, but you need to set "save with" correctly.
if you forget set "save with", as default,, DS think this formula will be saved with Character morph I believe.
(I think it is not you hope or you need to overwrite those character morph, to keep this ERC)
Then,, I prefer set those character as 2nd Controller of JCM,, with multiple, then set save with "JCM1"
though I think you seems have made many JCM,, then I do not know why it not work .
Thank you for your response but I do not believe this fully explains what I'm looking for.
I am a little astounded that no one else has responded to help out.
Can you show your hielachy property pane, of your current setting? it can show, your character Controller , FBM name. and JCMname you already made it ,then we can check if there is something wrong, if there seems no misstake, but still not work, I may plan test new JCM with some morph.
At least ,for me, when I set character morph (or character controller) which I plan, as 2nd "Controller" of JCM , type as multiple, in property hieralcy pane,
then set "save with" = "JCM"not Character FBM, about the 2nd Erc, and save the JCM as morph, G2 or G3 or genesis have worked so. I do not think, it will not work for G8.
