There is a version of the heart hand gesture that has been Trademarked by a footballer/soccer player called Gareth Bale, who plays for Real Madrid.
Although it doesn't stop other players from other teams doing it.

To be honest, if I knew Pete Townsend personally, I'd strongly suggest that he buy controlling interest in a wind energy firm. I mean, how cool would it be to have a windmilling guitarist endorsing a source of clean energy based off a windmill? :)

... and, as any medieval archer will tell you, it's mainly the first two fingers (with the middle finger in support) that you need to draw a bow. Hence the 'V' sign which, as Richard says, supposedly was traced back to Agincourt. Oh, and the archers there were mainly Welsh as well, not English...
there was a render used in a daz promo with this too while back think it was an ironman13 product promo got removed cause it offended someone oh in one of the v8 poses in the pro bundle got that too used it in one of mine

The makeup design thing is understandable, because the original KISS makeups were a huge part of their image in the 1970s. They weren't ever photographed out of makeup, for example. To me, it's similar to how circus clowns aren't supposed to copy another clown's makeup exactly. King Diamond's makeup was not exactly a clone of Gene's, but he changed his makeup to avoid the lawsuit. Gene Simmons approaches KISS like a corporation, and undoubtedly makes a lot of money of merchandising to this day. I don't think King Diamond wanted to face KISS' lawyers.
I'm surprised he never tried to sue professional wrestlers like The Road Warriors for wearing makeups that seemed (to me) to be even more influenced by Gene's stage makeup than King Diamond's ever was.
KISS always understood the value of publicity. Gene in particular seems to love shock value in his interviews. I'm sure he knows that there's almost no chance of him succeeding in his attempt to trademark the hand gesture, but he also knows this is a way to keep his name in the papers between tours and albums.

I think she looks great Morana and either way her hand is facing is very rock/metal but can understand your worry and confusion whether or not it would be considered offensive or not personally I don't like I said very rock/metal but there are some true regardles which way the hand is would be offended sadly then again now days anything and everything offends someone nowdays even pictures/videos of plants or cute & or funny animals you'll find comments of people enraged by them all we can do is create what we want to envision as close to what we want along the tos here and other places as best as we can and hope for the best we're still accepted

Gene probably didn't sue the Road Warriors because ONE of their arms is wider than Gene's whole body! It could get unhealthy.

Kiss did have their own wrestler for a while based on Gene called The Demon i think, can't remember if he was in WCW or WWF time period when they started then stopped showing wrestling here so didn't get to see the character

I wasn't watching any televised wrestling during that era so I never actually saw that wrestler. I did read about that in Gene's autobiography "KiSS and Make Up." Gene chose WCW over WWF. WCW, which was owned by Ted Turner, went out of business soon afterwards. WWF, on the other hand, turned into WWE and became an even bigger entertainment force.
There have been various Mexican wrestlers who have used KISS-inspired gimmicks, though. The current ones are Los Psycho Circus, where one of the clowns has his tongue permanently hanging out much like Gene. There were other guys years ago who wore masks whose designs were basically either the Starman or the Demon but with slightly different color schemes.

if some how he does get the rights serious question here does that mean we have to remove all images any of us have created and uploaded or would be be obligated to pay a royalty fee if we sold used our images to him or would that be covered by daz from our purchase of poses that include that
