What Upcoming Daz Original Genesis 8 Character Are You Waiting For?

    I am waiting for Girl 8, Guy 8, and must still save for one Pro G8 Female Bundle (doesn't matter which so I'm waiting for the one with the best collection of hair and clothing), the Aging for G8 Bundle, and Sakura and her male counterpart, maybe Sprito or Speed Racer? 

    I am sort of waiting for Toon Generations 8 and Morpheus 8 but it they don't happen I'm fine with using the various tutorories & scripts created to transfer them to Genesis 8.

    It's sort of nice to almost have all the bare neccessities I need already in G8, I can focus on buying unique quality.

    I saw something in a thread where Aeon Soul said she wasn't inclined to offer Alice because it was "too difficult" or something like that, and yet there are Promo after Promo so that doesn't ring true. 

    From memory, when Alice was made available initially there were very harsh reactions to the character's look, and it was really hard for them as Alice was really important for them, so they chose to retire her. That doesn't mean that they don't want to use the character anymore themselves, though.

    She released a Vicky 4 version called 'Ily" on RDNA a while back but there were some weird issues that burned A LOT of time in the forums and people were struggling with it.  I bought it, used it, figured out the issues and worked around them.  It's a shame the figure is not offered in a more modern format (like G8F) as I have always seen Alice as an iconic figure.

    Looks like your best bet for Aeon Soul's Alice currently would be a body morph for V4 that is up on Deviantart.  No head morph though.

    You can of course use Genesis Generation X2 as a way of bringing that body shape over to G2F and G3F
    The face though, looks like it wouldn't be too hard to recreate using Sunny7 as a starting point.

    Yes I agree that having Aeon Soul's Alice as a full main line character in the Daz lineup would be amazing.

    Nnnnnah, I kinda hope we don't see Alice 8 as an offficial release any time soon. It's their 'signature' character and tbh it would really kinda dilute the uniqueness of her. Yeah, I know they sold Yly at RDNA back in the day, but she had a different head shape than Alice did. 

    Anyhow, I'd love to see Lee, Mei Lin, Kimo, and Kalea 8 sometime soon. Maybe even actual "official" characters based on either South Asia (i.e. India, Saudi Arabia, Iran), Indigenous Australians, Indigienous Americans/First Nations, or African peoples (i.e. Ghana/Ethiopia/Uganda, and Egypt). Genesis 3 was surprisingly good at having a pretty ethnically diverse pool of characters -even including PA characters-, and I'm really disappointed that Genesis 8 has been seemingly nothing but white people with varying degrees of tan-ness outside of Monique and Darius so far. :/ (No, Sakura does not count.)

    More male counterparts for stylized female characters, but I knew thats not gonna happen, so I'm not holding my breath.

    This!! Also, as much as I want Mei Lin/Lee ASAP, I would also be OK with them being released during March Madness with steep discounts.

    Even though I don't use stylized characters, I agree here, too. Male counterparts are essential.

    And I echo another earlier poster's request for more monster-type creatures, too. Especially would love to see a D&D dragonborn creature.

    I'm really happy with the gene pool. I would like to see some ESPN "Body Issue" type bodies, but I really happy with everything.

    +100 for Cat 8, with some real paw definition and retractable claws. 

    Otherwise, hats off for Daz and Generation 8—in the past, any real diversity came from the PAs. This generation, Daz has delivered such a magnificent array of characters.  There are so many options for most any image or story you want to make.
