I saw someone mention this (somewhere else I think) but I can't find it now - It looks like we'll be getting "Lucas 8" next? The X-Fashion Arachnid Outfit has a fit for Lucas 8. Anyone have a handle on what he might look like? Could someone that has the X-Fashion outfit dial in his shape like they did up above with the Goth outfit?

Girl 8. I hope there's another FWSA Quinn. And probably the most versatile characters for me from G3F were Arabella and Vyria for Arabella. I hope similar figures come out for G8F.
Lilith 8 for me. My most used G3F by a long way.
I'm hoping for Gianni, but I suspect it will be the demons next.

Several of the new items released over the last couple of days have Monique 8 listed as a supported shape.
Monique and Darius tend to come out towards the end of the year if I recall.....
Were I as talented as some of you are at tweaking skin shader settings, then I might hold a different opinion; however, the smooth complexions of Victoria & Stephanie, combined with the unusability of Olympia leave me thoroughly underwhelmed about G8F (though Teen Josie was exactly what I would expect from Thorne). Michael 8 was OK, but Lucas is a continuation of the detail-lacking trend of Victoria & Stephanie. I've bought all the G8 Pro Bundles so far, but if the next DO Core release is not a character-filled morph with a top notch skin, I'll have to pass.
If they stop making wax skins, then I'd like to see Kimo 8 or Carlos 8 soon, with an expedited Darius and Monique.
Aiko 7 was my favorite Aiko by a large margin, so I'm eagerly awaiting Aiko 8. I actually like the Final Fantasy stylized look rather than the Anime-Girl stylized look. I even enjoyed that A7 was a reasonable-by-Daz-Standards 5'9". The Daz women are just way too tall for most of the renders I do. A 6-footer every once in a while is okay, but seems like the Daz women are soon going to be taller than the Daz men!
I'm not really looking forward to any "new" figures. They are kind of pointless to me. Except for Victoria, Michael, Aiko and maybe The Girl they only rarely have any characters released that need them except when they first come out. If they aren't being used as "base" figures they are pretty much just very highly priced ordinary characters. And then they want you to buy the HD pack for even more money. At least when they first came out with HD addons they gave you a nice high-quality skin to go with it. Now you just pay a high price for a morph pack that doesn't mix that well with other figures and morphs. I didn't even buy M7 until I got it at a big discount when I bought Darius. And I only bought Darius because I really liked his materials.
A new Freak figure. More like the new Hulk of the Marvel universe.

Yeah that might be worthwhile. He's been MIA for a while and Freak 5 was not that great. Too many Male Model typess in the last couple of Generations!
Ivan 7 is pretty good though. And Darius. Even M8 is a bit more "masculine" than M7.
Since I primarily work with male characters it looks like I'll be able to save a lot of money
Use the translucency presets that come with the characters to turn the translucency down (Generally named "Translucency Medium") it will make your skin look a bunch better IMO, render 3 times faster, cure any diseases you might have, and water your crops.
Seriously, I do not understand why TPTB didn't make a lower translucency strength the default

compare Lucas vs Lucas with "Translucency Medium" preset, both with the same neutral lighting and rendered for 5 minutes. you'll note one is signifigantly less orange and grainy
That first Lucas render reminds me of when they first got SSS figured out for Poser. Half the renders you saw on Rendo looked like the characters were made of wax because they were all so amped up about translucency.
The Bedhead hair released today mentions a fit for Mei Lin 7 & 8, so I guess that figure is coming soon as well as Monique 8.
Edit: One of the promo shots shows a fit for Monique 8. Presumably not the correct skin, but the head morph may be the proper one and that gives us an idea of what she'll look like.

I'd really love to see The Girl, Aiko and Keiko make a comeback in Genesis 8. I love their stylized looks.
