I like that idea. Well I think, they are talkiing about DAZ' native characters here. Bummer, but I like that idea.
For the "non-native" characters, you should contact the PA that makes it and ask them for an updated version. If they get enough requests... who knows.
What I'd like to see is a reappearance from Svengar (for Gianni) way back in Gen2. I always like seeing older men with character. In that line, I'd also like to see an older woman, a more athletic woman (BEFORE the "bodybuilder" morph) and, as mentioned above, a guy like George.
Not sure if they will; the only reason there was ever a V4 version available from what I understand is that the stores they did release her at allowed limited distribution times for the product, which is likely the way any new version would be released.
None, I'm thinking about asking for a refund on V8 pro alltogether, there's no improvement from G3F, it suffers from the same issues (no realistic expressions and lack of decent muscle definition due to lack of polys to work with) Maybe it is suited for the gaming industry this way, but at 12K polys artists have very little to work with. In short it basically is more of a pain in the rear to work with then G3F.

So if this new trend of having a 12K poly game model to work with and having to wait for PA's to create decent stuff, before it becomes suited to work with, you can count me out for this Genesis 8 generation. Simply put, it is NOT what I want.
I would like to see the Girl 8 as the next G8 character but I don't believe that's going to happen. Last time around though Girl 7 and Guy 7 came out within 2 months of each other I think and they were created to look like they may of been kin to each other which is very useful for story telling.
I would also like the Superhero bundle to come out earlier in the G8 release cycle too. Superhero theme and the alien spacewear theme too uses similar clothing and seems to be among the more popular themes in the Gallery and the forums. Can't say I know for their entire customer base.
The characters I'm betting money we'll see again are Olympia (confirmed), Gia, Teen Josie, Mei Lin, Monique, Lilith, Aiko, and Girl as they proved to be popular enough to get Gen 7 iterations. I also won't be surprised if characters like Eva, Bethany, and Tween Julie appear. Hell, Ivan's success on the male's end might say something about Rune as well.
What about a Genesis 8 HARU version?
I'm waiting on Mei Lin. Pesonally, I kind of hope she looks more like the Mei Lin 6 version than the ML7 version. If I could use the Mei Lin 6 skin on ML8 then I'd be happy too I suppose.

So, almost all the females this time around with the exception of Bethany, Genevieve, Mika, and Ophelia. The later don't surprise me due to simply them being too new in the store to garner-up enough numbers, but I'm actually pretty shocked to see Bethany fall short, given my previous explanation...
I am hoping Aiko and The Girl are not changed much from last generation except for the breasts and The Girl's lips smaller, it is easier to make those bigger than it is to make them smaller. It is a trend I would like to see on all new generations of characters.

I'm hoping for the opposite in regards to Aiko. We really need her to start looking more "anime/manga" again, or at the very least, have Daz give us a character like Keiko. I can totally understand why Daz would want a "gaming"-style of stylized characters, but what I don't get is why they felt like abandoning the J-pop toon style to the PAs in the process. Both Aiko and Keiko did well during Gen 6, so the anime fanbase is still a big enough part of the community to market. If we can have lines of European supermodels, teenage fairies, and warrior goddesses every Generation, we can certainly afford an expanded harem of waifus.
That sale has me worried about if there is a new Bethany in the works...

That's likely a list, not a sales ranking. Depending on how you have things set to display in the store, Monique would be near the top of the list or the bottom, because she didn't arrive until December 2016. And yes, that also likely means that she'll be late to this generation as well, if she appears. That said, she's had no consistency in timing in her whole two appearances. Monique 6 arrived 2015-02-26, and Monique 7 arrived 2016-12-23. So depending on how they decide to handle this generation, she's likely not to appear before December or February, at the earliest. I can't see them wanting to step on Monique 7 in less than a year.
That said, granting that it's a list and not a ranking, it wouldn't hugely surprise me if Monique was near the bottom of the sales list. Both because she's had less time to rack up catalog sales than, for example, Eva or Bethany or Karen (the three out in the first months after Victoria 7), and because, as PAs have told us time and again, African-textured/morphed characters sell less. That's just the business, unfortunately.
Girl8 and possibly Callie8, unless Girl8 is more Callie-like again then I'd like to get the next Aiko ASAP (but without the Encrypted content this time :P )
I'd love to see a Lilith 8, Rune 8, Ophelia 8, and Olympia 8 (looks like she might be here soon). Would also like to see some kind of option to use the existing Centaur 7 with Genesis 8. I really love the centaurs!
Like to the Massive morphs but don't expect them until will after Genesis 8 Male and Michael 8 hve come out. Would like see one change to how the Massive works. Want them to be like the Bodybuilder morphs in that you can have muscle definition, muscle mass and mass mass (scaling) all dialable separately.
A character who doesn't look like they have angelina jolie lips. Thinner lips would be a refreshing change.
I suppose I'm still hoping for something (if not new) then different.
G8 version of what I have - not really.
I'm still not sure why I've kept Victoria 8, admittedly the character is far superior to V7 and V6 imo, but still it's more of the same. Having said that, whoever did it did a really good job.
I like your change proposal for the Massive Morphs. I don't use that as much as I use the Muscularity Morphs. Hope those come out soon.
As for characters, I look at the skin shades and quality more that the face and body features. I bought way too many Gen 3 characters, not planning to do the same with Gen 8. I need to try that Gen 3 to Gen 8 morph tutorial by Redz, that may keep my Gen 8 character purchases to a minimum
After the release of Morpheus for G3M I'd like to see Morpheus for G8F and then the Girl 8.
Genesis 8 Male, of course.
You and me both, my friend. There are NO muscle morphs available for her yet except the (tiny) full body morphs that give you almost no control of individual regions.
Also, although there is a tiny flexion for the joints for posing, there is absolutely no LOAD flexion on the muscles themselves... something that we've had for every pervious Genesis Female- so the Genesis Evolution Muscle Morphs are also sorely missed here.
First of all, I am waiting for G8M.
For the females: Kalea 8, Mei Lin 8, Olympia 8, Rune 8, Monique 8, Lilith 8; maybe Aiko and Girl 8. Teen figures of both sexes, but more realistic than Josie/Julie 7. Native American and Indian base figures would be welcome!
