it says beginning at midnight. But which midnight? Midnight that begins the 24th? Midnight that begins the 23rd? (if the latter, I already missed out a lot) What I see in the category, is that the items from which to choose? First one is Michael 6 HD add-on. It would be nice if they gave us M6...I have V6, but not M6. Are they considering Friday the weekend?

You're looking at the the right category. I already got two free items. It is working right now. Enjoy the long weekend!
For those that are interested, the switchover times are as follows:
Mountain (DAZ) Time: 12pm, 4pm, 8pm, 12am, 4am, 8am
Central Time: 1pm, 5pm, 9pm, 1am, 5am, 9am
Eastern Time: 2pm, 6pm, 10pm, 2am, 6am, 10am
etc. - you should be able to use the foregoing to calculate at what time the changeovers occur for your local time if you are in a different time zone. So, you have four hours to take advantage of the offers beginning at each of those times before the freebies change.
There was a glitch at the beginning, and the first set of freebies did not go live until early this morning (the 23rd), with the intial five freebies remaining available until 8:00 am DAZ time. We are currently on the second bunch that will change at 12:00 noon DAZ time.
MST is UTC-7 (GMT-7) for the non-US-centric. So add 7 to DAZ time to get UTC - i.e. changeovers at UTC* 19.00, 23.00, 03.00, 07.00, 11.00, 15.00

Edit: I think I missed the previous five (bedtime here), but the five before that included an M6 HD morph, a V6 HD morph, an Ultragenesis expressions thingy, some 'real person' type Genesis female morphs, and something else. And there may have been some before that which I missed.

Watch out for Daz connect encrypted junk
Be careful, the G3M Hip Hop outfit and poses are encrypted.
I know not to use this thread for communication, but I would be remissed not to point out that in researching the two Encrypted Daz Connect products offered as current freebies for the next 3 hours and change.
Both are slated to end encryption on Jan 31, 2018, only a couple of months away, but, more importantly, I do not mind the wait, so I chose the G3F Hip Hop Poses -- And just downloaded them as a MANUAL download. In other words, the encryption scheme is not/was not being enforced.
Food for thought...
DaremonK3 I grabbed the HipHop outfit for G3male and there is no manuel download for it so I will just wait til after the encryption ends .......so it was not enforced on the posses but is on the clothing items

Hip Hop outfit for G3M is not showing as free for me. Does it change when you put it in your cart?

Yeah, they get reduced to $0.00 when in the cart. I grabbed all 5 items (across multiple transaction) from the earlier batch, but the current ones don't particularly interest me. Partly this was because the remaining ones after the furst purchase managed to linger just long enough into the next block of 4 hours that I could grab the rest of them. Then a little while later I refreshed the page and the 5 items had changed to new ones.
