Could someone please tell me what DSON means/is. I'm guessing it's like the DS sownload manager only for POSER.

DSON (Daz Scene Object Notation) is the Daz Studio file format, the DSON Importer is a plug-in for Poser that lets it load (some) DSON files. The details are at http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/dson_spec/start
