in The Commons
Hi all,
Qiuck question: Can you sell the art you make using DS and the content sold here? I made a e-comic which I would like to try and sell, but if I do that, are there any royalties or things involved?
Thanks alot,

Of course. Your art is your art to do with as you please.
You buy crayons, canvas, paint, stencils, airbrushes, booze. The work you create is YOURS! DAZ understands this.
Any form of 2D art is fine and covered within the product EULA, with the notable exception of one V4 character that is a licensed recreation of a known celebrity, which is indicated on that products store page, so comics, stickers, T-shirts, coffee mugs and film/video are all fine. You can't currently make 3D art using a 3D printer and sell those, though since DAZ's own attempts to break into the 3D figure market apparently weren't sucessful, that may change in the future, and use of the characters/product in videogames usually requires a separate license. .
The content sold here, and shop freebies: yes, it has a commercial use license for rendered images, and you don't have to pay additional royalties.
Be careful about other freebies, even those offered here in the forum; the license is often non-commercial use only.
Thank you !!!
