ok i want to save an expression as a pose set but i want that pose set rendered so when i look at the image it saves as a render face
can someone show me how to do that very confused on how to do that
thanks so much
You mean you want the thumbnail of the pose file to represent the pose it's going to apply? Daz takes a snapshot of whatever your camera is aiming at when you save a file, so if you're saving your expression, center your camera on the face and save the file. You can edit the thumbnail in photoshop afterwards if needs be, but this should suffice.
like this pic i want to be able to make my own for my own pleasure
Go to where your save files are stored in the content library, right click on an empty space in the pane and Browse to folder location. This will show not only your .duf files but also the png thumbnails associated with those files. You can then bring them into photoshop and layer an actual render on top of them. Make sure you save the png with exactly the same file name or it wont show.
Ty oh theres one more thing.very important. How do i backup my daz studio content so lets say i have to put a new hardrive in .so i wont have to reinstall all that content if you can show me how to do that and retrieve it thanks so much

You need to find your content library. I keep my main library on an ssd, and my back up on a raid. So for me it's F:\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library, and its that My Library folder that needs to be backed up provided you aren't saving things externally. Once i have a back up on my raid drive, i use a piece of cross-checking to populate any new content to me raid each week. The program is freefilesync, it's freeware.
