    Here is my second entry.

    |:| The Gift |:|

In a time, not so long ago, there lived a force of power greater than any known today. We call to you across the span of time, hoping that you are now ready to hear what we have travelled so far to share. Emblazened beyond in a quest for the truth, the time has come and we bring this gift.

    Stonemason's product: One Tree Hill

Created and rendered in DS4.5Pro with postwork in PSP XI.

He posted last Wednesday over at his FB page. He might just be busy doing something awesome

However, there wasn't any announcements of who were the winners for the random picks in the last two weekends. But maybe Stefan will just catch up and announce them when the contest proper and winners are chosen.

Unfortunately, circumstances have forced me to withdraw the two images I've posted here in the thread. jsyk.

@ everyone, lots of really good work here. Keep it up and good luck to you.

Thanks that's kind of you to say. Personal reasons though, unfortunately, make it impossible to play through. : )

I do have to say it was really good to work with the models again. Just being in the environment was extremely rewarding. Another image here [ruin] (for a couple of weeks anyway) that I was thinking of putting up but is kind of empty and then too a couple more before finding the Level 19 doors. Even second or third place has some great prizes and those are absolutely worth taking a shot at the contest. So thanks to Stefan for lots of great motivation.

A couple of images that I like a lot, but to be sure the game player running the gamut of the leering eye creatures was excellent. Like something straight from the game console. The green lawn with lights is always one of my favorites.

Got to post just one more. This is a scene from my graphic novel/web comic The Lightstream Chronicles. http://thelightstreamchronicles.com

It's a conglomeration of lots of stuff with some of my own textures, added in. The Walled City, Urban Future, Urban Sprawl. Characters started with Poser, then everything else in Maya, and Photoshop post production.

NOTE: This is not an entry. I have already posted my allotted two.

So is this excellent image an Entry as it has to be new images not old ones, or old ones that have never been seen in a public forum or Gallery before.

It is a darn shame you withdrew them but things happen. Are you refering to my image btw?

Sorry, I didn't make that clear. I already posted my two images for the contest, this was just another with Stonemason stuff in it. Hope that's not a problem.

Lots of great images posted and I certainly don't envy Stonemason and any other poor soul that he ropes into judging the entries.

What with one thing and another I've not had a great deal of time (just got a new full time, and above all permanent, job, at last :D ) and what I've been putting together just hasn't gelled, these are the pick of the bunch taken from a book I'm writing, I'd put in the section the image relates too but I'm not entirely sure it'd be allowed due to a death (though it's not very graphic but still...).

    1 - Prologue - So Close

Stonemason products used - Urban Sprawl 2 The Big City (x3), props from the Urban Sprawl 2 The Big City set (the two fences).

Here is my second. I decided to have a little fun mixing ancient with modern. Or did the homo erectus really have cell phones and we just have a rebirth of old technology?
I just call this one No Phones at the Table.
    I used Stonemason's treehouse

Thanks, barbult! I love your work too. I used some Filter Forge filters to get the texture/color effects.

    Title : Metal Vs Magic
    Software : Daz Studio , Vue 8 , Photoshop
    Stonemason Products used : Urban sprawl 2 , city ruins 3 , mech 2012

This one was pretty fun to do . I saw that this contest was going on and I had just bought the mech and antfarms rock golem and this image just kind of popped in my head . Unlike most of my work the setup was pretty simple , I even got an atmosphere in vue that I liked on the first try .

    Nice detail as always.

Is the Panther using 'look at my hair'?

    Thanks.

Actually no, I added UberSurface to the skin to add velvet and then bumped up the bump :)
The rest is post work using a fur brush for tiny fibers and then the smudge tool to brush away clean edges.
I was very lazy though, should have done more.
