Wrong Gift Card Code??

I've just bought a Gift card and when I try to use it (or redeem it) I get a message saying "Wrong Gift Card Code".

If I enter the code and check the status/balance it tells me I have $0.

    Turns out DAZ must have sent the wrong code becuase they followed it up with another email with a working code. Slight panic ofr a moment there.

    I get those two mails all the time. One is always wrong, mostly the first one. So I usually try the second mail first and if it works I simply delete the first one. I think it's a glitch. But since at least one of the codes work I don't mind so much.

    I also usually get two mails, one with a wrong code, one with a right code.

    My experience is that I only get 2 emails when I pay with PayPal; if I pay with CC I only get one. It seems like if you are paying with paypal then DAZ issues a Gift card before it gets the money from PayPal and then another one when it gets the money from PayPal and the first one becomes invalid because the money for it went to the second card.

    I did pay with PayPal so that would make sense.
