If you don't mind sharing, would you explain what you adjusted to achieve this lovely reflection?

If you can angle the glass, it helps, but:
Select glass in the Surfaces Tab:
Change the color to white.
Remove the limits on the parameter settings and bump Reflection str. to 10.
Set Index of refraction to 3.

There is a youtube vid on dramatic reflections but it's done using 3DL, and he changed a lot of setting that you don't have in Iray,  I changed the ones I did have and was able to achieve a better reflection, but I still haven't managed to get the degree of glass reflection that I'm really looking for.  I'm still playing with the settings.

Oh yeah, the reflection was still rather dim after all that,  using Topaz filters and "Crisp" it really made the reflection stand out much more.

But thanks a lot for the suggestion.  I think it made for a much better and more interesting image.

 

Wow, I never would have thought such steps were necessary to cause reflection in IRay. Interesting. Thank you kindly for the details. I look forward to experimenting! (And the original suggestion for the reflection came from xyer0 :-)
