Okay I did everything you said and removed the plugin manually
and reinstalled the plugin using the dimm to install it again
which appeared to have worked accept
Now there is a new issue.
The look at my hair plugin loads and works accept that it keeps asking me for a serial number, but it says the plugin is already activated
so when I try to re due putting my serial number its says I am ready and I need to restart Daz to use the plugin, when i do that it starts all over again asking for my serial number? I have no idea what activation code it its not listed in my serial number bank

    did i miss something?

I think you are not following the instructions correctly.

Go to the link mentioned there (http://www.gm-studio.net/LAMH_activation.aspx), enter the Personal Code and Serial Number, and it will provide the Activation Code. Paste it into the LAMH window, click Activate and you should be ok.

Now that everyone has left my place for the holidays I had a chance to play around with some of the new stuff i got and the the new bison..
OMG.. he is so awesome. I thought the moose and caribou were great but his big fella is really awesome ..,,

Look at my hair makes all the difference ... I'm really happy i got that LAMH plugin. for all these great animals
    Keep em coming.

if i could make a request for a animal. I really would love a white tail deer with LAMH .. to go with all the other woodland creatures I got. :)

yes only other way is create geometry hair and rig it
I did so for my JaguarElla but it is a pain and you are limited in numbers of hairs you can use, scaling the thickness up is needed too.
though your system kicks mines arse :-P
I used select surface in geometry editor and fill with weight brush for each bone to do it. to avoid vertex stretching from using Transfer utility
had to work in wireframe and save as support asset figure praying it would not crash to desktop.

I Dunno Wendy I see your PC specs once they are worthy opponent ..lol
mines i-7 w/3.33 ghz processor and a over clocked nivda titian graphic card. lol I think my windows index is a 7.5 or something like.
how do you create geometry hair ? is that like a geometry shell?

    i-5 3.3GHz Geforce GTX 760 16GB RAM for me
that titan needed as it uses the graphics in the viewport to do the LAMH geometry and rigging
is an option in your LAMH exports, geometry instead of renderman curves, you need to use the exported obj after restarting without opening LAMH too or DS will crash.
You need Octane render with a card like THAT girl!!!! Even mine rocks it, forget 3Delight I would rather watch real grass grow is quicker.

Wow, Ivy, these (and your previous ones on this page) are lovely! I'm trying to persuade myself that I don't need a Bison (after spending a fortune this month already) - but I think I'm going to have to change my mind... grrr!

and I can be honest I am very harpy with him.
Thank you for the very nice compliment.

Mac, running DS 4.7, LAMH 1.5.0.1. Load the Catworld Regenesis Lion LAMH guy. He loads with a tail attached, and a LAMH group that covers the body and tail. If I re-pose the tail, though, the LAMH fibers for the tail do not follow it.

I could swear there was some trick to doing this, but damned if I can remember what it was. Help?

    Hey,
I got a little problem. I have to reset my computer to factory setting because it was been bugged. I put everything like it was for Daz3d 4.7 but for some odd reason "Look at my Hair" is not working. It keep on saying "Look at my Hair resources file not found. Try reinstalling the plugin" and I did reinstall it but still no good. Please help thank you.

I think you might get the hair to resync by moving the figure of a little increment.

Hi, I think you are missing the "lookatmyhairAM" folder in /Program Files/DAZ 3D/DAZStudio4/plugins/.

Please check if it's like that, eventually contact me at '[email protected]' and I'll help you to fix this.

Greetings. I'm a bit new to both Daz and to LAMH. I am still learning my way around Daz as well but I think I more or less understand it in general.

One of my aspirations is to make hair primarily geared more towards human models, etc. rather than fur or animals (though I'll certainly do that as well). I plan to make both unique (or at least semi unique) styles for some of my original characters, and obviously some faithful reproductions of some popular or famous characters/people. At least as best as I can anyways. Yeah even facial and body hair is another concept where I can play with ideas too.

Problem: I purchased LAMH because it was a hair editor and it went on sale hours after I put it on my wishlist back during Christmas. I tried installing and it appeared to work in the download manager but nothing shows up anywhere. The manual says it should prompt me for an activation code (which I have found). But no dice. No option to "create new LAMH object" like the manual says. I uninstalled and tried manually installing. Same problem, no show. .

I have uninstalled again and am ready to try installing again one more time from scratch.

If anyone could please help, Thank You in advance.

Hello, I think the problem might be that you have still installed the LAMH Player. Please uninstall it, and afterwards the Create->New LAMH Object menu item should be there. If not, feel free to contact me directly at '[email protected]'.
