Missing content items

When looking for Victoria 2 in DAZ Studio under products (by alphabetacal listing) I found that it was not shown. DIM shows it as installed but I couldn't find it in DS. Uninstalling and reinstalling with DS reinstated it to my DS content.

However I noticed that several other products such as her texture maps I also have installed do not show up either.There also may be other products that are not showing up.  Short of having to uninstall and reinstall everything what is the best way to get these products restore to my data base?

Considering V2 and anything made for her is a very, very old item, it might not have the extra data included in the installer that lets it show up properly in the content database. You looked in the Products view, which is driven by the database; did you look in the Poser Format view, which isn't?

Back in those days there weren't even mat files and you had to load up textures by hand. Unless the files have been updated to incllude them, you won't see them because they don't exist.

@ SpottedKitty: But reinstalling it with DIM caused it to show up in  'Products' so the "extra data" must be there.

@ Spit: I meant seperate texture product I had purchase and as with the base character reininstalling them with DIM caused them to show up in Products

I don't know if there are any other products that  aren't showing up in products but it would be nice to have a way to check

Digital Lite Design

Installing via DIM creates a basic entry in the Product list. In Smart Content, those files will be in Lost and Found. The content is old so it is doubtful it will get metadata added in the near future. Daz is updating generation 4 content as they can it seems. I get periodic new metadata showing up.
