Working with Red Crow Inn. The only figures in the scene are the dog, cat and rat the rest are billboards :)

Sorry, talking about that brick wall behind the screen...English is not my first, or even second language;) It just looks a bit...odd, no biggie!

I agree but I hadn't got around to that side of it. I would probably add some bump and diasplacement to those bricks to make them pop, also to the wooden planks on the floor and the stucco on the walls.

Thank you. It is all down to the settings as I don't use post work or the denoiser.

I worked some Displacement into the bricks but putting too much in bent the wall and it pushed through the television at the top right corner :) It did bring out the plaster marks on the green wall as it is all the same surface and I don't have the time or patience to separate them :)

I think Sven meant the pattern is not a normal brickwork pattern, it would be the texture you used, it's a bit jumbled

It is a double Set half Set brickwork that makes the upright seams not overlap which for a feature brick wall would make sense.

It is called Flemish Bond Brickwork.

Hey thanks, I learned something new here:)) Not as sturdy as Brittish brickwork, but cooler:)))

Well the back wall looks good with the displacement, so I guess no harm done.. yeah one of those sets... in any event, you propably did the best of it;)

Sorry I missed your post, and tks for making me a beautiful Xmas card:))

Hm, it says you joined DAZ in dec 1969, so you must have done a helluva lot of 3DL renders before the IRay introduction??

    laugh

I myself is fairly new in the game, started dabbling with InfiniD, Bryce and the likes in the mid 90's;)

Yeah it was painful to render back then...

It wasn't the contenet more the fact I rendered it in 3DLight :)

That 1969 year seems to be the default if you don't put in a year. I didn't do rendering until the middle '90's I think :) Bryce was my first I think although I may have done some on my Amiga 1200 before swapping to Windows when the AmigaOS went out of development.
