Hello
Is there a way to render a model so it have a 2D look to it instead of a 3D look? And without losing text and quality?

There are different shader and camera sets that can do it as well as post-render methods.
Inside DAZ Studio (apologies if I left out any products):
Post Render Software:
There are also a lot of Photoshop and Gimp actions and tutorials on how to make your photos/renders look sketched/painted; some are free and some are for sale on different sites.
Hope this helps,

I highly recommend both PWToon and LineRender9000 for creating 2d 'look' of renders.
My results with LineRender9000:

And PWToon, one of my favorite renders:

Generally I've used LineRender9000 or PWToon and basic Photoshop filters (particularly smudge stick or graphic pen) to create interesting (IMO) 2d-like stuff.
Thank you guys, I will for sure check all these out. :-)
Hello
I am a beginner still. I am teaching myself how to use these programs. I been doing this for about 4-5 years and I love it. But I am still unskilled in most areas. I do appriecate both of you for the infomation.
I do have a question - http://www.painterartist.com/en/product/painter/ (You can have it automatically paint over the image using different media.)
What do you mean automatically?
Here is some stuff I have done, that I like to make look 2D
