Merry ToonMas! (freebie)

Here's a freebie shader kit that can do cel shaded effects in DS when combined with postwork with a paint program like PhotoShop or The Gimp.  The .zip includes some PS actions that do outlining and shading effects.  If you don't have PS, the last page of the pdf has tips on how to accomplish similar outcomes in other programs.  The actions should work in CS 1 and up and may work in PhotoShop 7 and Elements as well.

Although this method requires postwork, I like it because it renders quickly and gives a lot of control to tweak effects in postwork.

Note:  I updated the set on 13 August, 2017, with 2 new PS actions which produce smoother shadows and an additional readme with additional hints on using the set.

    Hmmm- what the popup box is showing (when I tweaked the brightness/contrast) is very different than what it converted to, when using the Outline/Shading/Dark.  

    EDIT:Okay, it's what it's doing after that part of the action, that is turning it into the really dark. March on!
