help understanding shading G2m's eyes, Gn1?

it's so complicated 

the cornea should be the transparent lens bit?
eye white
iris
pupil
schlera
?and eye socket?

thougt i was making eye lens a glassy shader, but comes out whited out.

they eyes change between generations?

everytime i futz with gianni6's eyes i mess it up 

want to make eyes have true reflection of light sources in scene

i had some success with frogkin's eyes, gave false confidance
