Another test render: Works for Star! 2.0 too

I should add: Barely works for Star 2.0. I had to go back to my initial test render of Star 2.0 to figure out what was wrong. Turns out the Eyesocket attachment doesn't play well with the Geometry editor and ignores any settings within...
I'll be working on my hobby renders for the rest of the week, so I project (no pun intended) that the updated tutorial will be up this coming Saturday, provided that I get home at a reasonable hour.

My apologies for not updating this week; dealing with (good) personal matters on my end for the time being. I'll be back at this perhaps this coming weekend if things start to calm down.
That's understandable. Things have been really crazy busy around here too. I'm looking forward to your updated tutorial but definitely take your time and work on it when you can - don't feel bad if you are busy. :) We'll still be here when you've come back to this. :) Life stuff comes first for sure.

Just to let you guys know: I'm still actively working on this, but Real Life (TM) has kept me quite busy for the past few months.
I've been experimenting with a few methods to see whether it yields better (or more consistent) results, namely using the Distribute Weight Maps option and/or painted D-Formers.
Is the PDF attached to the first post the updated tutorial or are you working on it? I know you said you wanted to make some changes, but I'm not sure if that's the one with the changes or not?
