CMS not running?

Why would I get this message when I open up DS tonight? It worked perfectly fine an hour ago when I opened it to download something, now I get this message. How do I turn the CMS back on?? (and why does it suddenly decide not to work sometimes?)

    You should be able to do that In the Smart Content part - As attached image

    If that doesn't work then rebooting has fixed it for me

    I get this message everytime I open daz 4.9 .If you look in the bottom left hand corner you will see a green button saying start CMS It should only take a few seconds to come on.If you do through smart content it takes ages Hope this helps!

    I'm in 4.9 but I don't see a green button in the bottom left hand corner.

    I hit "start cms" there, but nothing is happening.

    Rebooting worked tho. How annoying.

    I get the message every single time, but as far as I can tell, it is running.

    And it's done it again. I was in DS less than an hour ago with no problems...opened it up now and got hte same message. No settings - anti virus or anything or firewall - have changed in the last hour. In fact, I've just been sitting here playing solitaire. So I can't work out WHY this keeps coming up. The only way to start it again it seems, is to reboot the computer.

    Isn't this the 'postgresql' process?? It's showing mulitples of it in my task manager as running.

    So why is nothing showing in my smart content? I click the "start cms" - task manager shows those processes.....My Smart Content is still showing blank icons with the exclamation mark, (all the products I have installed via connect).

    :HEADESK: GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

    My external drive with all my content on it wasn't working. :sigh: I plugged it into another usb and it's now showing, and when opening up DS, all is fine. 

    IBK error. Sorry.
