Version 2.2.2 is already out, this should fix the firefox issue we were having. Thanks for pushing out this fix so quickly, @Overdrawn!

(Uhh, Firefox seems really slow, compared to Chrome.)

The main issue I have with Chrome in general is that when I select to open a link in a new tab, that new tab does not open automatically, like it does in Firefox. Do you know a way to make a new tab open automatically in Chrome? If I could get it to do that, I'd probably switch.

Thanks, that does work! I have to use two hands to accomplish that. I'm used to right clicking with the mouse and selecting "open in new tab" from the pop up menu. I hate to be a continued pest, but do you know any similar one-handed tricks for Chrome? If I try the same thing, it opens the new tab OK, but doesn't change the focus to that new tab. This has frustrated me for a long time. I'd love to solve it.

Maybe this addon? https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tab-activate/jlmadbnpnnolpaljadgakjilggigioaj I'm not familiar with this, the description suggests it might do what you are looking for, but I haven't tried it.

If I download Firefox on my iPad or iPhone, will the extension work there? Frustrated because I do all my shopping on these devices...

I use my middle mouse button to open a link in a new tab on chrome. It's so ingrained in me now, that it's automatic.

That opens a new tab, but the new tab does not become the active tab. I want it to open a new tab and have that tab become active immediately.

Have you taken a look at this? I don't know anything about it (I actually prefer to keep the focus on the tab I'm in to continue reading, and I tend to open several new tabs before clicking the top to move to any of them) but I found it oin a Google search and it looks like it might be what you want.

Perhaps there is something in Chrome Preferences that says Open New Tab In Background which can be turned off.

Thanks for the suggestion. Ati also offered a suggestion that I appreciated. After looking them both over, I found yet another extension that I've chosen to try. It has the same name as yours, MelanieL, and fewer permissions required than the one Ati found. It also seems to be newer and has ongoing support. The name is Tabs to the Front by Ryochet. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tabs-to-the-front/hiembaoomcehoiehhdldabfgnmphappc

According to everything I see documented, there is not, and that is why people are making these extensions.

I'm not sure; from what I remember, the versions of Firefox on iOS aren't the same as the others due to some goofy requirements Apple has

Well I finally plucked up the courage to go to the order history page (not somewhere I visit very often to be honest) for the first time since enabling the addon.
Good news: my total spend was pretty much what I expected (so I'm not 100% out of control!)
Interesting though when dividing the total spend by the full price sum I come out at a mere 13.12% - I must have acquired a much larger proportion of my content either free or as low-price PC+ stuff than I had guessed. (Or Ati can't add up? I hope it's not that)

    Merry Christmas everybody!

    Ehm ... Ati

Could you make the links in your emails going to https:// instead of http:// - I prefer secure logins, but I like knowing if I spend money you get a bit too ... so I am using your emails to jump to Daz3d.

When clicking on the e-mail links, you should end up on the https site. Don't you? I can't even get to any page with http on the Daz site, the server immediately throws me over to https.

No - I don't. It happened now two or three times, but not everyday.

    Once I wouldn't have mentioned.

Unfortunately I deleted todays mail ...

I clicked on one of the new promo pictures (A gift from DAZ, get up to ...) and ended up on a http page, directly at the place of the offer. The link worked correctly, but when I went up, up and away ... sorry, not away, but to the login I was warned by Firefox that this site is not secure.

Firefox can be strange. Anyway, I made some small changes, and if I didn't screw it up, then from the next e-mail, it should take you directly to the https page, without any redirection.

Today it worked - went to https - thank you again!

  • I found a weird glitch: If you have Actual Eyes 5 in your wishlist, and you click on the PlatClub Coupon link, it actually filters that item out for some reason. I can't figure out why.

Why is that a glitch? It's a Daz original so the PC Coupon (the $6 with no minimum for non-PC Daz Originals) will work on it.

That's not a glitch in the coupon link. If you filter by artist and choose to only see Daz Originals, it will hide that item, thinking that it is not a Daz Original. Something is wrong with that product's data.

Wish I could use it on my tablet as it is very useful on my computer.  Great job but wish I could search all Daz originals that are not PC items and also have it include new items that are Daz originals but not PC.

    Try this link: https://www.daz3d.com/shop/#filter_platClub=0&filter_vendor=Daz Originals&filtered=1

Thanks again.  I wish I knew how to bookmark it on my tablet.

Please please please tell me there is a firefox version of this coming.  I would give my left foot to hide some of the things that I've already bought.... never mind.  I missed it and added it.  Thank you! Now please tell me it is going to be updated.

There IS a Firefox version of it: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/daz-deals/

Updated? What exactly do you mean? We are constantly adding new features, the latest version came out just before Christmas, and we have some great new features lined up for this year as well.

Could you help us out a little? I created a short survey to find out a little more about your shopping habits. No personal info, no questions about money; only where you shop from, where you browse the shop from, would that habit change under certain circumstances, stuff like that.

Depending on your answers, there are maximum 14 questions, all multiple choices or select boxes. Nothing to type. It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.

Please fill out the survey by clicking here, if you have a few minutes.

    Thank you! :)
