some mat files not showing in daz

Somewhere along the line I adopted some mat files that don't show up in the content window in daz, but when I open the folder, I can see dsa files and png files. Is there a way for me to adapt them so they appear in my  content window?

    Where are they? If they are in one of the Poser library folders they will show only if there is a matching Poser-format file.

    They are in the poser library. I wonder why they are there if not poser files?
