How does valueOpDeltaAdd & valueOpTimes work?
Your .cr2 question is beyond my limited hacking knowledge, but JoePublic put together a tutorial on Poserizing Victoria 5. This also works on Genesis 2 figures, and I think it will accomplish your goal of loading an Aiko 6 Poser figure with the correct UVs out of the box....

Note the the "Speed" section can be neglected if that isn't an issue for you, and that the figure is initially loaded via the DSON Importer, but is a native Poser figure when finished...
Getting Started with LIE Wound Makeup ArtistThat is for Victoria 4, Michael 4 and Genesis 1.
none of the iconic 7 figures in sale yet?Yeah, I'm waiting as well to fill out my roster, too. Victoria, Micheal, Bethany, and Aiko were on sale recently, as was Monique, but I'm waiting for Lee, Ivan & Olympia myself.
Make up and Nail polishArrggghhhhh. Made my first 'painted' character and have always used the presets that come with the "So-and-so for Victoria X' figures.
I've always assumed that if I grab the Material for one figure and use it with the next, I could have shape issues...
Using FaceGen by the way and wanting to apply make up and nail polish to some originally crafted persons.
Did a search for nail polish and only had 1 hit. but it looks like the ultimate result. lol

That looks like a definite must have.

Looking for a one-click solution to add make up (light foundation, lipstick and eye-liner) and also paint the nails.
These look like a one-two punch.(HOPING THEY GO ON SALE [and the headwrap, I remeber bookmarking])
Anyone agree?
Better ideas?
I've been playing around with some ideas for nails myself. There isn't really all that much in the store. However, you do know you can use shaders on nails, yes? In a pinch, car paint shaders work really well for fingernails. So do some of the ceramic shaders and other glossy type shaders in various products. Take a look at what shaders you have that are really glossy and you might find some in your product library that you can use.

Carrara CharactersSo why try and compete with Daz Studio figures?
Do something entirely original! That's kind of why I brought up 3DU's Generation Toons. Not to say to make Toon figures, but to put it out there that, at the time, Generations didn't have a whole lot of competition in that field.
I would bet that Vyusur's Dino would make a LOT of sales. maybe not compareable to, say Victoria 7, but possibly more than something else, like a spider or something. Look for gaps in what's currently available.
Then, instead of just having the figure, have it come with it's own scene presets. Make a Carrara-specific figure release something much more than what other offering are getting the user. For example, the Dino could come with a small outdoor scene with some trees and a drinking pond (?)
Dart, thank you so much for kind words and useful advices! You gave me the food for thoughts about my Dino. I have some Carrara native outdoor scenes made by me from scratch without any templates and presets. And I have some trees made separately in Blender and Hexagon. Maybe it's a good idea to try to compile all those things together.
Genx2 Victoria not showing up as a sourceI have GenX2 and G2 and G3 addons installed.
Under "source," I have Genesis, Genesis 2, and Genesis 3 to choose from, but no Victoria 4.
V4 is installed.
How do I tell GenX2 to load her?
4000 poly decimation goal...I think Victoria 4 had a Level of Detail of 4K so you could use her, under resulotion select the LOD 4K. Can't really use all the newest stuff with her but there's a ton of content for V4.
Transfer Active MorphsWhy does "Transfer active morphs" copy facial dials to a bodysuit? I keep seeing this happen with Victoria 4 and her bodysuit which came from DAZ. I can delete them one at a time, it's just that I applied "navel gone" and had to transfer again and those dials are back.
Also, is there a way to prevent it or to remove the ones that don't apply?

Spy Game Poses....RELEASED... [Commercial]"....The Dspy HQ is to blame for the bad operating activities followed the theft of the hard disk. Victoria meets Jude McMillan, the new head office for relations with the Intelligence, which has already established early retirement within a few months. Victoria, furious, in returning to her office, is informed that someone is trying to access data encrypted drive with its headquarters, even from her desk: the woman comes to a step from home but was stopped by police who blocked traffic. Moments later, we are witnessing an explosion of much of the Dspy headquarters, including its office; event dies eight of his closest associates....it's time to ope the spy games"

Postwork: Rendered in non-photorealistic renderer, and then a regular render to get multipasses for shadows andother elements combined in image editor.
Best hair for close-up (i.e. portraiture) rendering?OOT, imo, has the most realistic looking hair right now. Other hairs, while some come close, just don't quite match that level of realism - again, just my opinion. Although, depending on the shaders, you CAN get pretty close to realism with some of the older hair even. Like the hair in my icon pic - that's a hair made for Victoria 4. So, yeah, a lot of the time it comes down to the shader.
How to make character mouth/lips open slightlyhttp://www.daz3d.com/fw-scarlett-hd-for-victoria-7
In the main pic, the character seems to have their mouth/lips open slightly. some even have pouts. How do you do it normally? using facial expression presets? or manually moving the lips/mouth in the character facial adjustment tab?
Thank you
What hair on Scarlett HD for V7what hair for the character on the right in main pic? http://www.daz3d.com/fw-scarlett-hd-for-victoria-7

Carrara CharactersYeah, believe it or not, I still have some of those old millenium woman obj morphs (Victoria 1) on my computer. I fired up Poser, loaded Victoria 1, chose the head, and then went through the steps of loading a morph by obj. Here, I loaded a morph called elf ears 3. Wow, we thought that was amazing back in the day. Probably should have deleted these files as part of a geenral cleanup of my drive.
The same way of offering morphs could be done with a Carrara native figure. The only issue is lack of batch installation, as Misty has pointed out.
How to rig clothes and hair onto Victoria 4.2 figure? Is there a way to rig clothes onto a Victoria 4.2 figure so that when moving body parts (posing) the clothing moves with the body parts?
